One of my rooms smelled of smoke, I had to put my luggage in a different room so they take on the smell. It took about 3 days for the smell to clear of the cigar smell. The beach and pool were not parent friendly. I had a child in the pool and one at the beach, there wasn't a good view of both areas. Also there are NO chairs that you don't pay for, nothing is complementary in this arena. So even if you are there for 2 hours you pay for the full day for the 1 chair. Note: usually you need more than 1 chair for a family of 4. Lastly the community areas are a little dated - could use a fresh coat of paint but into the rooms very nice.

The view was amazing. Most staff was very helpful. I was traveling with my family - we have 2 kids, the adjoining rooms was perfect. Beds and room were cleaned everyday, which helped with the sand and over all cleanliness. The food service was good overall having options for kids. Also most staff spoke English which helped. Breakfast was awesome!!! Though not include well worth the price and you can prepay.

The poor start: queues for check-in; the initial room allocation (changed after a lot of hassle); limited room service menu (but possibility to order from the restaurant downstairs.

The terrace area and cafe overlooking the sea; the room with sea view and balcony; the super-size bathroom. The valet parking service. The walk along the coast to La Napoule port and it's nice restaurants, especially Le Boucanier; the charm of Mandelieu; proximity to Cannes and lunch in Scalini.

If I had to say something, it would just be the price of food / drink. But it is the south of France, so everywhere is expensive.

This hotel is perfect for a week away with the family. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast, beautiful views & an incredibly clean and comfortable room make the Pullman one of the best hotels I’ve been to. The short walk to the harbour and a bunch of lovely little restaurants is ideal, and you’re only a short drive from the centre of Cannes. I can’t fault this hotel!

Overall good, but a few issues

I paid in advance for parking on arrival but later when an issue arose and I was offered free parking, the lady in reception said I had not already paid and had to go and calculate things before she realised I was right. Also, on our second stay we had a camp bed in the room for our daughter rather than a sofa bed ( which I had booked) and it squeaked loudly. The air conditioning was also faulty, although the hotel did repair it the next day. Food was repetitive for lunch and no gluten free options. One day I asked for gluten free bread for club sandwich as the menu said it was available. However, sandwich that was brought looked like normal bread. I asked if it was gluten free ( as ordered) and reply was “ I don’t know, I didn’t make it”. Complete lack of understanding or concern. I then had to ask for the server to go and check. A different server came back to say no it wasn’t gluten free as they could not do that for a club sandwich. Ridiculous!!!! Note: You must pay to use all the sunbeds €35- € 160 per bed per day depending on size and location although the €35 option was explained in advance. Also, the beach not private to hotel and not very big, but fine morning- early afternoon. Very busy later. There are apartments nearby who also use it.

Location was excellent with direct access to a small sandy beach and the sea. On the whole, staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Breakfast buffet was good. Good view from the room, nice balcony. Room was very clean, good size with mini fridge. Decent beds. Frequent servicing of rooms. Bottle of water, a coke and an orange juice provided each day. Lots of staff to take drink and food orders from the sunbeds. Hotel walking distance of Mandelieu village and several nice restaurants. Also only 5-10 mins drive to Cannes. Overall would stay again if in the area.

I was very surprised and annoyed that as a residence of the hotel one has to pay €45 for a bed at the pool. For the nightly price I would have expected to them to be free for Hotel guests . Also didn’t like the layout of the pool are with glass around it and beds facing away from the pool . There is nowhere one can sit just to read a book in the pool area .

Hard to say if it is a disadvantage or a benefit, but a private jet airport is nearby, and in busy times you hear the planes departing/arriving

The best possible location with direct sea access, convenient transportation and yet away from all the traffic and crowds. Very nice and helpful staff. Rooms are very spacious, light and clean. Very good breakfast. Lots of good restaurants in walking distance. Worth spending on rooms with a view. Overall, great value for money at Cote d’Azure.

There was a slight sound of the lifts in our room but it didn't disturb us.

The manager and Ema (front desk) kindly upgraded our room to an upper floor, full sea view, in recognition that we were celebrating our birthdays. This was a wonderful surprise. William (in the restaurant) was very attentive, friendly and super helpful. Our room had a great view, was a good size, with a great big bed and had good bathroom facilities too. We loved the fact we could experience a beautiful sunrise directly from our room too. All very romantic and special.

Really do not understand why the on the wall hairdryers are still being used. No woman would request a hairdryer like that in a hotel room and for the price being paid, I would expect a good quality hairdryer not a box on the wall with a tube resembling a hoover! Also, although an iron and ironing board were delivered to the room within minutes of requesting, surely for a hotel popular with conferences, an iron and ironing board should be provided in every room?

The view in Reception out to the terrace, pool and beach is exquisite. The room size and view and terrace also very good. QR code for ordering in the room was excellent and room service was timely and friendly. Can't fault any of the staff I encountered. Full size mirror in the bedroom that could be moved, also very useful.
