How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Shower temperature constantly changed between hot and cold. There were some long hairs on the bathroom walls so obviously they had not been cleaned.
Hotel was quiet. Wifi was fast enough to watch videos. Towel is included in the price.

The door lock, did not work from outside, or had to play with it until you find a way to make it work.
Perfect stay for the money. Frienfly staff. Easy on/off from the hihgway. Secured parking.

No fridge. No market in the neighbourhood.
There is a coffee-making machine on the ground floor. I got assistance for internet access. The window opened into a park. We enjoyed the fresh air and the car was safely parked on the hotel's private property.

I asked for a NON-smoking room. But, I was put in a room used by a smoker..... it smelled of stale tobacco... horrible

The shower is small and has a curtain, that is less comfortable. Ventilation was difficult and in the morning some noice of earlier people waking up.
check in, access, bed were all good, people are friendly and it has buffet breakfast with all normal stuff for a quick breakfast, long time available 6-11 AM. It's located on an industrial estate near a large shopping center, so for business it is ok.

The bedroom needs a full renovation, everything is so old

Noisy plumbing woke me at 7 am and it continued until I gave up trying to sleep. This spoilt an otherwise excellent room and comfy bed in a convenient location. Shame

They kept me in a room next to a smoker. I inhaled cigarette smoke all night , and it still makes me sick even days after. Secondly, there is no early check-in option. Although they were kind enough to keep our boxes untilll check-in time.

Pillows we're as flat as a pancake and I had to suffer with a stiff neck the closing day. The bathroom was very clean however the entrance to the room was not clean especially where the floor and wall intersect.I asked help how to use the coffee machine as I don't speak French and I was told it works, just press the button. I never got my coffee and drove to a gas station in the end.
Easy check late check in. Room size was good. Bed size was good.

The bed and the TV : The « large » bed, unlike what is stated, is small and we could not sleep « straight » : I had to turned side (head at the feet) in order to be able to « fit » in it with my daughter (and we are not overweight…) ; As for the TV, it might be old and the channels do not « obey » the order = for instance, it goes to the number 3, and then blocks, goes to a other setting, and then, accepts to go further : number 4, 5, or else ; As for the remote control, the batteries have to be replaced ;
The staff is very nice and helpful ;

Exceeded our expectations.
A very warm welcome. Everything explained. Our room was on the ground floor, I expect because we had two dogs. Very spacious and clean. Good location as we could walk to the local large shopping centre with shops, restaurants etc.,

We had to stay 5h in the reception room because we arrived 30 minutes later than their check in limit. The phone numbers were wrong or nobody even cared to answer, the automatic check-in didn't work and they even charged us a full night even if we checked in at 5AM. We didn't manage to sleep a bit and when we arrived in the room (apartment with 3 rooms as they claimfor 3 people) we found out that the 3 rooms were the bedroom, the bathroom and the wardrobe. It was the most painful experience at a 2 star hotel. I would never recommend it ever again to someone. I would rather pay 50€ more per night than to stay there.

Tired decor, mould & mildew in bathroom. Shower curtains rather than cubicle.
Cheap & good location. Clean towels & bed sheets. Helpful lady on reception.
