How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The bus stops right outside the property and was an excellent way to explore( v good value). The studio was super for us as a family of 3 with our own kitchen and patio area ..the pool being only steps away ! Would highly recommend! Thank you.

Verified reviewThe courtyard with the pool was a lovely sunny spot to relax with plenty of shade available from the plants. There is also a cosy area in reception to play a few card games or read a book with comfortable sofas. It was very easy to catch a bus from here to the airport- even early morning on a Sunday.

Verified reviewIt was very clean and comfortable as well as the hosts are extremly friendly and helpful.
The room could be a little bit bigger to room an open suitcase beside the bed. It was more than enough for one night.
Thanks for your comments, it's kind of you; and the good score! We're happy you find our place clean and comfortable. Yes, we accept our rooms are not the biggest but, given the comments, we think they're great for the price and really nice owners too! (according to you!). Best regards Tom and Ruth

Verified reviewSwimming pool, balcony and parking place.
Definitely not a three star hotel. The pictures don’t represent the reality. The room, the two beds, bathroom and toilet were more suited for minions than normal people. The beds weren’t comfortable and short of length and width. I’m sorry to use the next phrase but the toilet was so small that a normal person couldn’t even move to wipe his own ass. If you sat on the toilet your head and knees touched the door in front. So to use the toilet you better leave the door open… The owner, a nervous native English speaking person, did his very best multiple times to show us that we were never welcome in this hotel although we weren’t staying there for free. He was complaining and accusing us of anything he could find although our behaviour wasn’t different from any other normal guest in a normal hotel. According to him we couldn’t have guests (friends and family) joining us to seat, talk or eat together at this hotel. One evening he suddenly came without even saying hello complaining and accusing about the swimming pool door that need to be kept closed but you could nowhere read any warning at the pool. He accused us of being disrespectful but he is the one who entered our hotel room without even knocking on the door and with my teenage daughter and partner being in the room. Also according to him children swimming at the pool shouldn’t make any noise. There are no shops in the neighbourhood of the hotel. Only a carwash and bus stop in front of the hotel.
You were, by far, the most difficult guests we’ve had at the hotel in 21 years. You reserved a room for 4 and arrived with 5 of you, saying, “oh but five year-olds don’t count”. Well, yes, actually they do and you forced us to break our fire regulations for 7 nights. FUNNY THING THOUGH, YOU FORGOT TO SAY THAT IN YOUR DIATRIBE ABOUT OUR HOTEL! We offered you a solution with a bigger room costing €30 per night more but you refused and your "spokesman", who shouted at my wife, said you expected us to upgrade you for free, something which we were not willing to do. You then complained the air-conditioning wasn’t working, however, your wife was on the balcony with the window open when I went up to check (and she had been there for at least 5 minutes as I’d seen her there from outside). I did knock actually. You then complained the beds were too small. Well, yes, of course they are if you put two teenagers and a five year-old in one bed. The beds in your room were as advertised on booking, com. You left the swimming pool gate open incessantly by propping it open with a chair, even leaving it propped open all night one night and on another occasion all afternoon when you’d left. This made us break the swimming pool regulations. You left the night access door open or unlocked most evenings, I found it open the next morning so anyone could have entered the hotel. You invited guests in to use our terrace and pool without asking us. Most normal people would have a certain courtesy to ask us and of course we'd say it's ok. Unfortunately courtesy was sadly lacking from your bedroom. You left dirty towels in the corridor outside your room at 5pm so other guests had to walk over them. We had comments from other guests as to your comportment and mess being left when using the terrace and pool. You bought towels from another (hotel, airbnb?) you didn't return to them, I presume it was the one your spokesman was staying at - I wonder if you thought about taking and not returning their towels? We have asked booking to block you from being able to stay with us again and I hope never to see you again. You had absolutely no respect for our hotel and I pity any other hotelier who has to put up with you in the future. You know, we really hate this type of discourse and especially the horrible atmosphere you bought to our hotel and our family for a week, we’re not like that. You can see that from all of the other comments we get.

Verified reviewThe location is perfect for exploration of St Paul de Vence and Vence. Ample spacious parking with EV charging available. A pool is perfect in summer. What we like most is the host Ruth and Tom, who helped us with the delivery of our late arrived luggage. They were so kind to allow us to leave our 2 big luggages at their place for 10 days when we found that our rental car could not fit in those large bags. We give them a 11/10 for their kindness and hospitality

Verified reviewRuth and Tom were so nice and helped us with everything we needed. They told us about the area and the best way to transport to the most interesting places. We are really pleased with our stay at Logis Hotel des Cayrons :) The hotel is near the beautiful old town Vence and also St. Paul de Vence which we think is absolutely worth visiting.

Verified reviewThe staff were very friendly and helpful. Provided a lot of sightseeing information. We took their suggestions and had a good time. Room was tidy and clean. The bed was really comfortable. Bathroom and toilet facilities were modern and new, and clean as well. :-) Shower was hot. This was a plus on a cold and rainy day! location was good too. Most of the attractions in the area were within 10-15mins by car.
The soundproof of the room wasn’t perfect. We could hear the TV or talks from other rooms. But everyone was quiet after 10pm. So it wasn’t a big issue.
Thank you for your comments and great score, it's relaly kind of you to take the time. We're glad you found the bathroom modern and new and the shower hot, also that the bed was comfortable - that is, after all, the whole reason why you stay in a hotel! As you said the location is great with most attractions and places of interest within 10-15 minutes by car. We're sorry you found the soundproofing imperfect, we recently installed further insulating joints to the doors and hope this will improve things. Many thanks again and best regards Tom
