How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing. Could do with some hooks in the bathroom.
Great little hotel, yes the rooms are small but this is Paris so space is at a premium and it was plenty big enough for me. Well thought out space, clean, convenient for transport and great value for money.

The pricing is a bit on the expensive side, although it is so close to the station it is understandable that they feel they can charge more than the actual value of the accommodation.
The location is ideal for Gare Austerlitz being two minutes walk away. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean and in very good condition.

The lift was between floors and very difficult to manage with heavy cases. Definitely not usable with disabilities.
Position Staff was excellent. Very friendly And very accommodating.

Noisy location if your room faces the street but tolerable for sleeping with windows shut. Lift stops between floors - you cannot avoid stairs!
Location is excellent for Gare Austerlitz. Lovely bathroom, comfy bed, good amenities nearby including a small supermarket.

Feel I paid a little over the odds for traveling with a pet, more than double a previous experience and it would have been nice to have breakfast included, but I booked in a rush and didn’t see that it wasn’t.
Location was excellent, clean, my room was lovely. Breakfast was great, staff were helpful.

The room was very small.
A good budget hotel in a very good location. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Very easy to walk along the river to Notre Dame and the Louvre. The metro is just outside the hotel with the Gare de Lyon a short walk away.

The receptionist could be nicer and more friendly. The receptionist could not say my name properly! This lady must practice English more! On the day we checked out, the guy greeted my partner with my family name!! NO!! My partner and I have different family name!! This guy also need to practice English more often!!!! We could hear our neighbour and door banging at night.
The location is perfect! At the Quartier Latin where there are lots of nice bars, restaurants and other entertainments in Paris. The bed is comfortable. The room and the bathroom are clean. And we were allowed to check in earlier as the room was ready! :D

The hotel feels a little outdated. Shower pressure very low.
Perfect location with easy access to many attractions (Notre damn is within 20Mins walking distance). Rooms were clean and well maintained. Perfect for a 2 night stay.

The room is pretty small! For 2 people is a little difficult to have 2 suitcases and be able to walk around comfortably. The bathroom although it was clean and beautifuly decorated, had a very strange layout: the shower and the toilet were in a room closed with just a glass door and the sink was OUTSIDE of this room, essentially closer to the bed. We found very inconvenient the fact that if you use the toilet you have to open the glass door, exit the bathroom and then go to the sink and wash your hands. I thought that was something worth pointing out. Also the soundproofing of the room isn't the best but it was bearable. Lastly, be mindful that because there is a hospital close by there are a lot of ambulance's sirens ringing and that's kind of annoying
Modern, clean room. Comfortable bed. Very good location with a mini market, restaurants and a mc Donald's nearby. Also nearby the metro station and a 5 minute walk from the RER train station. The room had a kettle and also some tea and coffee packets. Hand soap, shower and shampoo and body lotion were also provided in the room. The paid breakfast buffet was worth the price, had a moderate selection of items and it was tasty. Overall the hotel was totally worth it for a 2 night stay
