The superior double room with balcony was small and the sea view was only available from the balcony looking around the corner. Bathroom mirror light not working and dust on shelves. I would have expected more for the price.

Excellent staff. Very friendly. We booked the sauna for one hour on arrival. Nice idea that you can book this facility. We arrived before the opening of the rooftop pool for the season. Excellent dinner and a huge range of produce for breakfast.

Score of 7/10 ...losing points because: a) even though it was April the facility appeared to still be set to winter season plans...no bar after 9.30pm; no floor 5 facility after 7pm; air conditioning set on winter setting / room was like a sauna the 1st night!; b) room was nice and clean but the corridor to it was stained and lacking TLC (tender loving care) maintenance; c) the beach front is still under construction with many of the nearby beaches inaccessible. Perhaps we should have been advised of this ...even though this situation is outside the Hotel's control, it would have been good to know this in advance. We loved Cap d'antibes and a score of 7 is a fair score we believe. Hope this will help you with your planning and comms with future residents. Thank you.

Breakfasts were too limited. A lot of jams, breads, deserts from breads, but no really good and fresh food. No salads, no veggies (only tomatoes and cucumbers), no greens - so our stomachs were not too satisfied with that. On top of that, each day - exactly the same options. Maybe it's a French vibe... Also, not so clean corridors on floors. Overall, our stay was really great, but a bit overpriced.

For the price I really expected a better room as described in the booking. Coffee in room but no milk or biscuits/treats for guests. I’d expect daily bottles of water. The rooftop pool is only a plunge 5x4 metres approx. No lounging areas around the hotel to relax. My room did smell of stale smoke whether from a previous guest or coming from a neighbouring room. Noisy neighbours in the villa next door - not much the hotel can do but rowdy people til early hours. Giant Hôtel opposite having major building works although not that noisy it should be highlighted. Interesting mix of clientele rather unfriendly. Hôtel is attractive but soulless. A few tables out front for breakfast but the space has not been maximised or made attractive. 4 star probably due to comfort and cleanliness. Lots of staff around but often waiting to be served at the bar. I don’t know why French hotels never quite hit the mark or match other destinations for price and outstanding experience. We could have had two holidays for the price so am disappointed.

Staff were fabulous and attentive. The style of the hotel is art deco. Good room size and shower room with toiletries, slippers and dressing gowns. Breakfast buffet was nice with good choice plus egg options and coffees to order. Great location 5 mins to beach, bars, shops and restaurants. 10 mins to station serving Monaco, Nice and Cannes etc. Lovely rooftop bar and restaurant with views of bay and surrounding, plunge pool, towels and canopy beds. Sebastian was very helpful and friendly.

The pool area was very small, breakfast area was lovely but it seemed a shame just to use the outside area during that time of day.

The staff were so friendly and efficient. The rooftop bar & restaurant were great, again manager and staff were lovely. We would return to the hotel for sure.

We had 3 meals during the 6 days, would have liked to have used the restaurants more. 1) First breakfast we pointed out to staff there were flies on the buffet food, solution was to open a window inviting more flies in ! , did not have breakfast there for remainder of the week 2) Had a v nice lunch, no issues. 3) Evening meal on rooftop was practically inedible, rubber steak, could hardly cut it. My wife had Pork, tasteless. We ate out for the rest of the week and excellent food everywhere. We found a clump of hairs from a previous guest in the shower. We pointed out this item to staff and it was cleaned immediately

More chairs and cabanas to lounge on the roof deck without needing to buy food or drinks.

Love the style of the hotel, recently renovated while maintaining a distinctive art deco style. Big rooms by European standards, very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious but a bit pricey. Location was good, near to the shops and restaurants of JLP. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend.
