Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsNot really worth mentioning, but the traffic around Nice at this time of the year was very hectic. We thought we had planned our trip well, considering the location of our accommodation, but all of our trips took far longer than expected. While this is not the fault of the staff at Le Mas de Alizes, it's worth noting for any travellers planning a 'local' stay outside of Nice during July/August.
Communication with the host before arrival was easy and fast. The chateau was beautifully decorated. Our room was lovely and cool. The pool was a refreshing way to end the days. Parking was easy, and the breakfast was an enjoyable selection of fruits, cheeses and fresh bakery items. What was a pleasant and unexpected surprise was the village of La Colle-sur-Loup. The main street had a wonderful choice of restaurants and we were there on Bastille Day, so it was so nice to celebrate in a local French village and see their traditions!

Our Host -Corinne! The room was beautifully clean & modern. Bed was fabulous. Great swimming pool Terrific breakfast and because we had to leave early on the second day, Corinne was so obliging— opening breakfast an hour early just for us.

United StatesPlace was hard to find. We arrived earlier than expected and nobody was at the property to let us in. Host did not speak English very well so it was hard to communicate over the phone. Had to wait in the car for 30 minutes before the host arrived to open the gate and let us in.
Very nice breakfast. Fresh breads and croissants, homemade jams, plenty of coffee and tea, made-to-order eggs. The place was old but completely renovated and very clean. Nice shower.
