Everything was wonderful!

The room was sensational, but perhaps the clothing closest could have been a shower?

Lovely location; gracious and helpful hosts; great breakfast.

In Europe there’s often no air conditioning. This wasn’t a problem for us as we were there in the middle of May. But it could be an issue in the summer months.

The hosts were so warm and welcoming. Fabienne has beautiful taste and the decor is so well done. She and Guy were very helpful with tourist ideas and dinner reservations. It was close to St.Cirq yet. A calm retreat.

The property is beautiful. Fabienne clearly is a classy woman with exquisite taste. She cares dearly about every detail and it shows in the rooms, at breakfast and in communication.

There was a gray cloud over the property during our stay. This was beyond our control with turbulent weather and unpredictability. Blue skies and sunshine would have been appreciated and welcoming.

Le Mas de Laval exceeded our expectations in every respect. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable, and the hosts were wonderful - friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this beautiful place and will hopefully return one day soon.

Fabienne and Guy are absolutely wonderful hosts and they have a beautiful home in the best location. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was lovely with great toiletries. The view from our window out onto the open field and woodland was a joy to wake up to every morning with deer grazing and so many different types of birds. The pool was a great area to lie and soak up some rays or sit and read a book and have a dip. Plenty of comfortable loungers and chairs to relax on. Breakfast in the morning was really good with croissant, fresh warm bread, cheese, yoghurt and jams and honey washed down with coffee or tea and freshly squeezed orange juice. Fabienne and Guy are really hospitable and have us ideas for excellent restaurants and places to visit in the area. They also invited us for drinks one evening and we spent a lovely couple of hours chatting, drinking wine and eating olives, pate and cured sausage. It was such a touch and their grand children were there also and it was so interesting speaking with them all. They really made you feel at home and part of the family but never intrusive. Just very relaxed.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like. Fantastic place to stay.

We have stayed in Le Mas de Laval for four nights and loved every moment. A beautifully designed room with a lot of thought invested in it. The location is amazing, a beautiful farmhouse, elegant, just outside St. Cirq Lapopie, which is set in a quiet and green relaxing nature view all around. Fabienne & Guy are charming and warm welcoming. They are perfect hosts, making us feel so welcomed into their beautiful home. For breakfast, we had fresh orange juice, home made jams, local cheese as well as freshly baked Home Made crispy bread. Fabienne and Guy shared with us their local area recommendations for excellent sites. Coming back in the evenings for a nice relaxing rest and reading by the pool was an added bonus including following the wild deers and hares in the surrounding meadow. We had a wonderful vacation experience!

This is an exquisite property with all the classy provincial trimmings. It is close to town, and the setting is truly special. The hosts are absolutely delightful, helpful and sincere. The setting for breakfast was truly memorable.

I really don’t want to say anything negative about this accommodation , but I think it would be helpful to mention that some rooms are not particularly easily accessible if one has mobility issues. Also, bathing in the luxurious deep tubs may also be a challenge again for those with mobility issues.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The location is amazing , a beautiful traditional farmhouse just outside St Cirq which has been renovated to the highest of standards. Fabienne and Guy were perfect hosts, making us feel so welcomed into their beautiful home. Our room was just fabulous and the attention to detail better than a lot of the five star hotels we have stayed in. For breakfast, we had freshly squeezed orange juice, home made jams, some delicious local cheese as well as some freshly baked home made bread. Fabienne was able to share her vast knowledge of the local area with us and her recommendations for restaurants were spot on. Coming back in the evenings for a nice relaxing swim in the pool was an added bonus. We will definitely return!!
