We came on one of the warmest day of the summer. And with no Air condition in the bedroom we struggled to have a good night of sleep.

The house was beautiful and perfect for our family of four. We were cycling from Bordeaux to Toulouse and Moissac was a natural place to stop before our last cycling day to Toulouse.

Would be good to have a mirror in the room and some fruit or cereal for the breakfast.

Location was great, very friendly and helpful host.

    Nothing.

I was lucky to be the only person staying in the gite so I had all facilities to myself. The owner was very considerate and offered to text me if anyone else would be staying in the property on the same night. The property is very tastefully decorated, the bed was super comfortable and everything was spotless clean. The complimentary soap was a very nice gesture. I have no hesitation in recommending this property and would love to stay again if I’m in the area.

Wonderful house, beautifully restored, and a great location. Myriam—our host— was welcoming and friendly and had great suggestions for how to spend a short visit in town. Access to the kitchen was helpful for storing drinks and snacks we had brought with us. In fact, we arrived late in the day and chose to stroll up to the grocery store and buy a few items for dinner that we enjoyed in the dining area. Easy 1 mile walk along the canal path to see the Pont Canal. A short stroll in the other direction brings you to the Abbey—a spectacular site. * do not miss * the cute bookstore just across from the house, in a canal boat!

    Nothing!

Spotlessly clean and really well kitted-out for guests. Super comfortable beds, and freshly renovated. Well lit, beautifully decorated ensuite bathroom. Spacious bedroom (we selected a room with private bathroom). The common areas are lovely and bright. The sunbathed deck at the back is a beautiful place to sit and relax. The living room is also bright and warm and comfortable. The owners show obvious pride in the place, and well deserved. They were delightful to deal with. Location is perfect, parking was easy, just outside the busy centre (ie peaceful) but a very short and pleasant walk to the main street and sights.

    A Dream Place to Stay

It was a shame we could not have stayed longer. There is no on site parking, but parking on the street is easily found close by. Myriam was an outstanding host who too care of all our needs. There was not anything that was not up to standard. It was a perfect stay.

The accommodation is an old town house which sits looking out over the river with a wonderful view of boats and barges with views of this charming town. The property has recently been re-furbished and decorated to a very high standard. We particularly liked the attention to the renovation of the antique styles and designs of the spaces and the furnishings. Loving attention has been given to enhancing the original character. For example, original vintage floor tiling has been complemented and mirrored elsewhere in the rooms. Wooden staircases, floors, shutters and windows have been restored to their former glory of the past. A lot of effort and attention has been given by Myriam to ensuring that guests have the best experience and best stay possible. Everything you need is on hand and bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas and outdoor spaces are very well furnished and equipped. The level of service was excellent and response to any problems or questions we had was immediate. The breakfast service was excellent and much appreciated. We only stayed for one night but it was a memorable experience and we wished we had more time in this truly unique and wonderful establishment. The value for money and the experience you will have here cannot be matched. If you are in Moissac, then this place comes very highly recommended.
