The hostel is located close to the train station, which was very practical for me. You can reach the castle and the old city with a 20 minutes walk. The staff was very friendly and rooms provided with everything needed. Excellent option if you are planning to visit Carcassone!

I would recommend some hooks inside the room bathroom as there wasn’t anywhere to put clothing or towels inside except for on top of the toilet. I would also recommend a shower mat as it gets quite wet.

Great location close to the train station and in the hub of the city with shops and restaurants. Walkable to the old city. Felt very safe and welcome. The space was clean and comfortable.

Staff at reception were very helpful. There's a storage room to keep a bike inside overnight, to keep it secure. Dorm room was clean and reasonably priced.

What a wonderful welcome we recieved from (small) Sarah. All the staff were friendly. The beds were very comfortable with a privacy curtain per bed. Air conditioning Location was ideal... walking distance to all the attractions.

Big Sarah and Small Sarah are very welcoming and proactive in offering help with guidance on tourist attractions, food at the hostel and great secure place for bicycle. In this weather the air conditioning was much appreciated.

There's no kitchen or space to store or prepare food, and no common area, though guests can use part of the restaurant when it's not busy. I asked for a quiet room as events can be 'a bit louder', but I was actually in a room immediately overlooking the courtyard where events were held, and 'a bit louder' means loud music reverberating through the building until 1:00am.

The location couldn't be better - it's walkable to everything in Carcassonne - and the dorms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean. Everyone is thoroughly pleasant and helpful; the staff added a couple of hours to my card key, effectively giving me a late check-out, so that I could leave my bags before my train.

Basic hostel, even for sleeping. If you're travelling for a short time, I highly recommend it. It's the kind of hostel you'll only sleep at. There aren't many amenities, like a place to rest or sit... Plus, the internet is terrible! The bathroom is not very clean.

Positive points: comfortable bed, close to the train station, in the city centre, supermarket and close to all points of interest.

There is no kitchen, the restaurant is quite expensive. The bathroom walls are pretty thin so you can hear everyone.

The location is great, the rooms are clean, beds have curtains. The staff is very friendly, gives information about the tourism in the city.

There was no towel and no soap in my dorm. A lamp next to the bed would have been nice and I miss a communal space where you can eat your own food, hang out etc.

The beds are of good quality, don't shake or anything. I love the fact that there are curtains!

Convenient location, clean. I had a bed in a shared 4-bed room with curtains for privacy and a clean private shower in the room.

At day time, hotel is mostly shut down and difficult to find the staffs. I stayed for 2 nights and they didn't make the beds for check-out people or emty the trash bin. I felt the whole hostel empty like the haunted house. Also there is no reading light in the personal bed.

Many showers and toilets inside the room and right next to the room outside. Very quiet cause it's low season i guess.
