Absolutely nothing

I stayed at the La Maioun Guesthouse in 2nd week of Aug for an entire week for holiday. 1. The dorm - Super clean, quiet, respectful guests 2. Bed - Very cozy bed matress, clean sheets, cozy blanket, big fluffy pillow, ample space for charging your phone, storing your sunscreens and medicines and food, etc right at your bed. There were private curtains on each bed - which was fantastic, and your own mini fan and light for temp control and reading. 3. Bathroom - Spotless and clean - each of the guests also made an attempt to keep the bathrooms clean and dry and this was just a HUGE HUGE plus point about this guesthouse. The hosts - Adrian and Solein kept replenishing hand wash, toilet freshner sprays and even toilet seat sanitizers, which was really helpful before using the toilet. There is an extra bathroom outside the dorm as well just in case. You can’t shower in that one but really helpful esp in the morning when everyone was up. 4. The breakfast - at this price point, you got a huge delicious breakfast with fruits, juices, coffee, tea, milk (cow and almond), bread, butter, plenty of jams/ Nutella/ peanut butter/ cheese, cakes. There was tea, coffee, leftover breakfast breads, freshly prepared ice teas and juices kept in the fridge all day for us - which was super useful. 5. The common room - they have a huge table where everyone had breakfast together each morning so that was brilliant to make new friends and have a good time together. The number of friends i made there were countless and that really made my trip and this holiday so warm and memorable. Plus there is a beautiful outdoor balcony where all of us used to have a small picnic or talk and chat in the evenings. The common room also had Lots of books, games, guitar, and also fully equipped kitchen with Microwave, electric water kettle, condiments (salt, pepper, etc), a big (and safe fridge), bread toaster, utensils and wine glasses, drinking water, olive oil, etc. 6.

Had a great stay at this unique hostel. The place has a great vibe, everything you need, and a very friendly staff. It's also in a great location, close to everything, and a quick walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again. ^_^

Sharing a bedroom at nights comes with its own challenges when people come home late, but the host provides ear plugs to anyone that wants them which was very thoughtful

The WiFi was quite slow.

I think the gate code may be too accessible? I felt safe, but the keypad seems easy to access from outsiders.

Dorm room didn't lock

Free breakfast, rooms were clean. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Nice balcony. The host was excellent with lots of great tips for exploring the area.

the beds were a bit low and do not personally enjoy the hostel dorm situation with shared bathroom but considering that i found the place very nice and well set up

This was a really nice place i was glad i booked it-the people working there were really friendly, and it had a nice atmosphere with the garden etc.was great that they offered laundry service, the location was good to explore from and there was Decent breakfast, main positive was the very nice living /communal spaces to hang out in with balcony and garden:) had a delicious dinner at the Lebanese restaurant downstairs

Footsteps in the room were very loud, everything would shake when someone walked in.

The property was in a great location (10 min walk to old town & the beach). We stayed in the 8 bed mixed dorm, our beds were comfy and had curtains, charging points, a mini fan, little storage spaces, a pillow with blanket (they even had extra blankets in the hallway if needed). We had our own lockers that were big enough to fit our 60L backpack and they provided locks and keys if you didn’t have your own. Towels and shower gel also provided. Everything you could want from a shared space!! The breakfast they provided each morning was great too. The hosts were very friendly, always up for a chat and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. One of the best places we’ve staying in around Europe, we would love to stay again!

Private shower was not next to the room but down the corridor however bath robes were provided which was great so just be aware. The toilet was shared and it was slightly annoying in the morning with trying to use it. We kept peeking out to see if it was free and it was constantly in use. It seems there is only one toilet for the whole place?

AC worked amazingly, the room and location was perfect. Loved having a private shower. The breakfast included was a nice touch and its really clear the host has good attention to detail. I loved all of the decor and just the general vibe of the place was lovely. Everything was really clean. Would definitely stay again!

Very welcoming environment, the staff were super friendly and the place felt very homely. It was comfortable and nice at cool at night. Incredible location, was walking distance to the beach & Nice’s top spots!
