The property was so full of character and lovely and cool in the very hot weather! It was central to so many places and in a lovely area. Noëlla was an amazing host. Nothing was too much trouble. She just loved looking after us. The breakfast was wonderful and she went to get fresh bread and pastries each morning from the Boulangerie. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good shower. The terrace was a lovely place to sit in the evening! We really felt at home with Noëlla and her daughter. We hope to return one day! Thank you for being so kind to us!

met with a friendly greeting and the offer of refreshments after a hot motorcycle ride through France Although an evening meal is not provided they were more than happy to place our food in their fridge and then provided plates etc when we were ready to eat . We liked the information about the history of the property and the off road parking for our motorcycle

The house is beautiful!! Even magical.. the host is so lovely 😍 in spite of the language difficulties, we felt as if a good fairy is taking care of us. Thank you, Noelle!

The property is isolated from restaurants and other businesses, and unfortunately, there is a busy highway nearby, so there is some traffic noise, though it quiets down at night. Our room had an "ensuite" but with the large bathtub, it was cramped. Ask for one of the larger rooms!

Wonderful welcome and very nice breakfast. Charming building with an interesting history. Great walking for us and our dogs in the adjacent countryside. Close to our friends in Cancale and a good point from which to tour the region.

Was right next to a really busy road and the room was a little on the small side for us (we had to put a travel cot in).

Characterful building and very accommodating hosts. We were made to feel welcome and encouraged to make ourselves at home. Breakfast was beautiful and they laid a table for us to bring our own bits for dinner which was thoughtful.

we had a toilet outside of the room which my Mrs was a little bothered by about having to leave the room in the night if necessary,but as no one else was staying and our room was on its own corner of the building it was fine.

The building is spectacular,the room was beautifully furnished and the very nice lady that owns it is lovely and very helpful. A bit out of the way which was perfect for us, quiet and scenic location. We enjoyed our bottle of wine on the terrace in the sun in the evening.Breakfast was lovely with fresh bread, croissants and home made jams and cheese….

A charming property with a friendly and welcoming host, despite the language barriers. All the guests shared breakfast & conversation around a large dining table, which made for a pleasant experience.

A charming country house. Nöela goes out of her way to make you welcome and comfortable. (She even took up the hems of my jeans!). We enjoyed the French style breakfast.

The warm heart of the host make all the difference. As well as delicious breakfast and dinners, perfect place for children, in the middle of the nature, helping you to recharge, and at the same time it is a close drive to the touristic towns ( Dinan, st Malo, etc...)

Unfortunately, we could not get any Wi-Fi as the and the location is very rural with limited phone coverage. A car is a must to travel to the local town for a meal which was excellent.

The accommodation was spotless clean and very comfortable we were made to feel at home buy the owner and had the use of the lounge and kitchen. Breakfast was excellent served in the dining room with a lot of homemade patisseries. Traveling with dogs we were made to feel welcome.

Honestly can't think of a single thing that could have been improved upon.

La Forge is in a beautiful, quiet location within easy reach of the main road between Rennes and Saint Malo and as you turn into the drive it looks like something out of a picture book; little turrets and pretty windows. The house was built towards the end of the last century by the family of the wonderful hostess. We couldn't have been more thoughtfully welcomed and were only sorry that we could stay for just one night. We would certainly love to stay there again and for more than one night next time; it's a very special place.

Not easy to find the place, due to remote location, internet was not working perfectly.

Nice place to stay. Noëlla is a very helpful and friendly host. We stayed in her comfortable house. Clean room with bath. Very good breakfast was served with local products.

Everything it was the worse place we have ever been to stay at, and we left after 10 minutes .I cannot understand where this place got its rating from and I suggest somebody from your COMPANY tries it out . We went to stay in a Brit hotel near St Malo on the same night which was very good .

The property was a little austere and although the host was welcoming I was a little concerned to disturb other guests as we travelled with two dogs and three children.

Interesting building in a wooded area. Comfortable bedding and towels.. rooms at ambient temperature for sleeping . Property was a unique style and quite grand in character. Location for proximity to St.Malo was very convenient.
