Size of the apartment and proximity from beach

key collection process, collected key approximately 2 Km away and at 4PM. we were tired, and it was very unpleasant experience. Kids room was dirty and three was see through from kids' upper bed it was kind of scary feeling for them, so they slept at our room. Building was very old and smelling like very old stuff. opening door was challenge.

We liked how the property was only a 5 min walk to the cleanest part of the beach and 10 min walk to the town centre. Was in the less “posh” end of Cannes away from the crowds. The main bedroom was spacious and had high ceilings. That there were two showers (although the overhead showers did not work in either only the hand held ones did). Was relatively modern. Had a coffee machine and a small, long balcony. They provided a welcome pack containing mini washing up liquid, sponge, 2 washing machine tablets, mini shampoo and shower gel. As they had no other guests the day of our check out they allowed us to check out 2 hours later than scheduled as we had an evening flight. The front of the property had natural light. The air conditioning was cool enough for us. 5 minute walk to Aldi supermarket

The key collection safe was a 22 minute walk from the property, or a 15 euro taxi ride, if you have your own car would not be a problem but we did not. The dishwasher was not working as the water did not drain we reported this to the agency and owner they said someone would come to fix it the next day but no one came. Then on complaining again the following day they sent someone to look at it but they did not fix it and it remained broken for the rest of our stay despite asking daily for it to be fixed or replaced. There was a lot of noise from the cars and buses on the street directly outside the apartment and on the main road that was the next street away starting from 5am and also from the bin men collecting the rubbish daily around 6am. There are no wardrobes in the property nor a full length mirror. Only some hooks in the hallway to hang clothes and a small rail with 3 hangers in the second bedroom. The second bedroom is very small it and would be too small for 2 people to move around in at the same time. However it was manageable for us as only our daughter slept in there. There is no external window. Some of the crockery was chipped. Probably not suitable for elderly or anyone with difficulty climbing stairs as is on the second floor of a narrow stair well and no lift. But was fine for us.
