I received a warm welcome and felt friendship from the host. I appreciated the conversation. He served an excellent dinner. I couldn’t stay for breakfast, but he offered much more than the typical Gite breakfast! The house is old (1700’s) and very interesting. There are four lovely cats and some chickens in the garden.😊

Beautiful spacious room with bathroom right on the village square. Host was excellent - he spoke English well and was very funny. He cooked a wonderful three course meal for 16 people and we sat in the garden under the grapevine for our evening meal. Breakfast was also excellent. Couldn’t fault anything

When I envisioned the perfect stay at a French Chambre D’Hôtes, I envisioned this! Yvann has created masterpiece: a fabulous 360 year old building with wonderful wooden stairs, rooms filled with antiques, comfortable beds, great views out into the garden. Dinner for 25 served at a long table outside under a grape arbor, delicious food cooked by Yvann, and copious wine and laughter. Good times! Of all the gîtes and hotels and chambres d’hôtes we stayed in during our walk on the Chemin, (and many were very good), this was the best. Highly recommended!

Yvan was a superb host. The Grand Old House was beautiful! Food was wonderful. Bed was wonderful. View of church from our room was beautiful. All pilgrims should take the GR 6 and stay here!

    Liked everything.

The property is very centrally located, close to the only supermarket in the village. The room located in the modern wing of the gite was very large with beautiful view of the main square and the church. Yvann is a great host with great charisma, entertaining and friendly trying his best to give equal attention to all at his banqueting table.

It is a great and nice stylish house. Renovated with taste. And a nice garden. The rooms are not a ‘dortoir’ but more chambre d’hote style. The reception was very welcoming and the food was good. Not expensive. What more do you want?

It is a little ‘off’ the chemin. But not much. And for the walkers there is a very nice road joining the GR 65 direction Conque. It is not much of a detour and worth your while.

First: the amazing house from the 17th Century! The room was big, very clean and comfortable with 2 windows with a church and the beautiful square views. Hot shower in my private bathroom. The owner: Yvann was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay at L’arche d’Yvann. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinner at his cozy dining room. I wanted to add that himself went above and beyond delivering bags to another town for a couple that forgot to call La Malle Postal for pick up. He also prepared a delicious pasta for lunch for me. Campuac is located halfway between Espalion and Conques on the Via Podiensis! I’ll recommend this place 100%

Beautifully decorated and the evening meal cooked by Yvann was exceptional. It’s evident that Yvann takes a great deal of pride in his gite and wants pilgrims to be comfortable. Would highly recommend.

I wasn’t able to get WiFi on the top floor.

Yvonne was a great host and cook. We stayed in the historical home, almost 400 years old. He has a place that is modern in renovation as well.

We loved staying in such an old charming home so full of history. I especially loved the wooden staircase and the parquet flooring . Our room had an incredible view of the church in this small village. Yvann was a perfect host- relaxed but attentive to our individual needs and preferences. Y’vann cooked us a fantastic Thai meal which we enjoyed outside, under the grapevines. The food and company were fantastic, and the blue-eyed cross-eyed cat was gorgeous… also the other 3 cats. A great memory for us!!!!! Thanks Yvan for being such a great host!!

If you want a route for a day with fewer pilgrims for a little quiet time and solitude then take the GR6 route and stop off here. The food was the best so far on our Camino, the company the owner provided was charming and the building is full of original features befitting a house of that period. The room was clean and spacious and the added touch of being able to book a massage which the owner facilitated at short notice and which was very close by was the icing on the cake
