Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomDon’t book if you have a car that needs secure parking. The nearest car park has a height limit of 1.80cm so you would need to park at the station. Around 15-20 mins away and not great if you have bags as the one way system in Amiens means a 20min drive to the car park as well. The actual hotel itself is great.
It was very cool, clean and right in the heart of the town. Breakfast was pretty good and smoothly run and the key elements - bed and showers were perfect.

United KingdomThe decor was very basic, breakfast was not replenished very quickly but I understand the need to reduce food waste.
Ideally located for the town and close to the station

United StatesThe parking is very convenient, but you have to know how to find it. Make sure that you put the parking garage address -- NOT the hotel address -- into your navigation system, or you will wind up on the wrong side of about 7 minutes of driving on one-way streets. Still, it was great to have secure parking in the center of the city for a reasonable fee.
The Ibis Styles is in a perfect location. Plenty of restaurants and shopping are very close by. The cathedral, river, and old city are within a short walk. The hotel was comfortable and accommodating. Our room's air conditioning wasn't working on arrival, but they very quickly switched to a different room without any fuss. The beds were comfy and the room was quiet. The breakfast had a good assortment of items and was very tasty, with a lovely interior terrace. We would definitely stay here again.

NetherlandsWhen we arrived the lady at the reception did not say anything except: “NOM?” Then we got the room number and key. So she just spend only ONE word. Effective but it has nothing to do with hospitality !
Everything except the reception. Worst ever experienced.

United KingdomThe room rate was quite expensive for an ibis hotel and the garage parking also expensive
Comfortable modern room, clean bathroom with good shower, air con in room and comfy bed. Food is ok but probably better to eat in town. Breakfast good with lots of variety. Very secure parking garage (chargeable). Central location in the city

United KingdomThe decor in the rooms is slightly different - bare, industrial concrete. WiFi was a bit iffy at times, I don't like refillable toiletries as it leaves them open to contamination, wasn't able to eat in the restaurant one night, despite it being empty, there were groups in the hotel whome I guess hadn't arrived for service, Restaurant/Breakfast room was quite warm at times.
The location was good - a five minute walk to the Cathedral and less than one minute to the main high street. All day bar was convenient, indoor and outdoor seating for relaxation, free water dispenser for guests at the rear of reception, free Wi-Fi. Staff were very polite and friendly.

United StatesWe weren't great fans of the "industrial chic" decor -- at first glance we thought there was mildew on the ceiling of our room, but then we figured out it was part of the decorating scheme! But that's a very minor detail.
The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is just a few minutes walk from the train station and also only a few minutes from the Cathedral. There is a pedestrian shopping street right around the corner and all sorts of restaurants and cafes very near by. The staff were friendly and helpful and let us leave our luggage for a few hours when we arrived early and again when we left. There is a comfortable lobby to sit in. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of choices (buffet style). The hotel is quiet and the room was very comfortable, with a good shower. We often stay in Ibis hotels because they are almost always clean, comfortable, and efficient, with good breakfasts. This one was better than the Ibis standard so we were very pleased.

United KingdomThe aircon didn't work but luckily it wasn't that hot. The lighting was a bit harsh - funky-looking bulbs though.
The hotel is very conveniently located near the station, with parking underneath if you drive (we did) and right at the top of the pedestrian area, near to everything you want to see. The beds are comfortable, it's clean and quiet, and the breakfast is good. The staff are friendly. It's very good value for money.
