How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

This is an old etap hotel and is now looking dated. Walls were dirty with marks. Bed clean. Air conditioning was not working properly it was 25 degrees in our room. Felt very cramped.
Excellent location for one night on our road trip to south of France. I liked breakfast.

Maybe its just me but the bed sheets were rough.
We were on a road trip so it was convenient for us, fast shower and to bed. If you are looking to stay more than 1 night I wouldn’t suggest it as its too basic and the mattress not the most confortable. The water was hot. Really small towels. However it’s completely valued for the money. The lady at reception was kind. Private parking was a plus!!

Conditioner made strange loud noises during the night. As a family of three we only got one small and one big towel, that was really not enough. The receptionist wasn’t very pleasant.

Budget hotel in a not so nice area. No restaurants close by.
Easy to find, large free carpark. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast OK.

breakfast is 10 € and the coffee machine was broken. an alternative machine was set but it was not a professional machine. i had to refill the water 3 times to get my 3 coffee as other guest were using it and waiting water to make the maintenance. It is like at the office you get there 1 per month and had to refill all coffee machine ;D

Why close the restaurant on a Friday evening? It took us a long time walking around to find one open.

Although the room was well planned it was small. Didn't like the shower actually next to the bed Separate toilet with sink outside. All not very private when sharing a room 🙃 However it is a budget low cost hotel
Location was good for an overnight stay through France. The industrial park area has everything you need with a couple of bars and restaurants nearby. Good car park and near to motorway

The shower being in the room itself, no privacy at all. They gave us a different room, not the one on the pictures I booked. (Twin room instead of a tripe with bunk bed)
The staff was kind even at 2 pm. The breakfast was good. Everything was clean and neat.

Door is locking access to the parking. Nobody sent me the code after I paid on booking.com. I had to call the reception, wait in the uncertainty before finally door opened. Small detail (trash can near reception): One zone for recycle, one for trash and another for something else, but only ONE bag under. So it's fake everything goes to trash.

Would look more professional if the front gate was automated rather than hotel staff having to come out and open it manually. Admittedly I arrived to the hotel late in the night but the carpet throughout the stairways and corridors were in desperate need of a vacuum. Im pretty sure the room I was given smelt of stale smoke partially masked by air freshener and cleaning products. Along with this there were a large number of burn marks on the floor next to the bed. Whilst none of the above experiences will stop me from returning to this hotel they did make a negative impact on my first impressions and for a fairly low investment in fixing these things, that impact could be removed completely.
On site parking, 24hr reception, good breakfast, clean and generally smart bedrooms.

A bit more space in the toilet
It was a Budget hotel and a budget efficient experience. Breakfast was better than expected. It was all I needed for a good nights sleep whilst travelling

Breakfast: really basic
Very convenient if you travel to the skiing areas. Basic room with just enough to stay overnight. The parking, closed during the night, is a plus.
