Unfortunately 3 stars for this hotel are not the 3 stars we expected. If you have a room on the 3rd floor, you will have a very narrow elevator (which only fits 2 people and that's it without having space to move) then you will go up the stairs one floor. Our room was orientated to the street and it was extremely noisy, not being able to sleep with the windows closed being very hot, but even if the windows were closed, made of wood, they certainly do not isolate from the outside noise. It is not equipped with AC but with some dusty fans.

Very nice staff and ready to help with any information. The location is also impressive being across the street from the moulin rouge and next to the metro. In the bathroom you can find all the amenities, from shower gel to shampoo.

We specifically chose a hotel with an elevator but the elevator didn't arrive at our floor. Also, the elevator is the absolute smallest I've seen anywhere in a lifetime of travelling.

The bathroom is a little dated and hasn’t been taken care of properly. It wasn’t the same standard as the room.

The soundproofing between the bathroom walls was not good and we could hear our neighbours talking and showering, and they us presumably. But we were not disturbed by this noise in the bedroom.

This is a good base if you need to spend a night or two in Paris. We needed twin bed room for our kids rather than a double and they were able to accommodate this. And we needed to be near the Gare du Nord and Gare de L’Est and there is a bus that runs direct between the stations and this hotel. The rooms are comfortable, functional and clean but quite sparsely decorated, felt a bit run down and lacking in character. We had a lovely meal out in the area where there are lots of places to choose from.

There was no air conditioning. The day we spent there it was 35 degrees Celsius and we were dripping with sweat as we were getting ready for our night out. It made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. There was a portable fan in the room but it did very little in the way of cooling.

If you are having a night out at the Moulin Rouge the location is superb as it is literally across the road.

It was very hot in Paris and the room didn't have A/C but a fan. I didn't mind too much but if I would've stayed many nights, I would've preferred A/C.

Location is fantastic, opposite of Moulin Rouge and nearby a lot of nice little restaurants. Room was good; clean and comfortable bed. Staff at reception was very nice.

The neighborhood is seedy and very risque. Not family-friendly at all. But maybe that is what some people want just down from Moulin Rouge.

There was nothing wrong with this stay, but the neighboring shops were not good. I was glad I was only there for one night.

Excellent location, friendly staff. Breakfast was basic but okay. As we noticed in the reviews, it's quite noisy here. We stayed in May, so it wasn't an issue, but the rooms lack air conditioning – this must be problematic in summer. For a 3-day stay, the property was adequate.

The corridors looked very shabby (dirty carpets, scratched walls). Bathroom needs a renovation too. The area is noisy (no chance to sleep with an open window), plenty of ugly sex shops around so might be worth to choose other street if you are coming with kids.

Close to the metro station and Moulin Rouge. The room was big and quite nicely renovated. There is a very tiny elevator.
