We love it. But would love the go karts to be back in action! This wasn’t promised but you can see the old track and the kids mentioned it would be good to have!

Loved the theme, location and facilities. Everything you need for either a short of long stay. We had both sunny weather and a bit of rain and there was things to do for any weather. Bring lawn games with you!

A place in nature, perfect for families with children. The campsite is great!

    Everything was just great.

At first I didn't know what to expect, but the place turned out to be great. The accommodation in the caravan was great for the kids. The campsite has a playground for the kids, a clean swimming pool open from 10am to 7pm, they have ping pong, pedal karts, barbecue and lots of nature. There is a supermarket around 5km away, it's perfect. The accommodation in the caravan has everything you need for a few days stay. The prices for accomodation were affordable, same as the food and drinks at the restaurant.

    Nothing.

Accommodation is different from the usual caravan or holiday bungalow. The staff are really good. The restaurant and bar are very good and a nice relaxing atmosphere

Not really a dislike but the steps to the accommodation and the ground was a bit slippery in places but the weather was awful!

Western theme makes the site stand out. All good and clean and helpful staff. Easy and different one night stay and we have found somewhere where we would be keen to go again.

A nice time in the countryside.

The swimming pool was freezing, trampolines very tired and in general the place felt like it needed some TLC.

A cute little wagon with some on site facilities. There is a nice bar, little shop and hot food is served there too. The wagon was well appointed and comfortable.

The cart just showing some signs of wear and tear and could do with some upkeep. One of the seats out front had come free from fixings so was loose and in front some of the timber decking was significantly deteriorated to a point I would say could be dangerous if stepped on. I would advise it should be looked into for repair. Son and I had a quick dip in the pool, but you wouldn’t get my wife or daughters in there! :-D. Unfortunately would have to say the food wife and I had was average to say least but the burgers our kids had seemed pretty good. It was extremely busy for the staff though at the time of our stay.

We stayed in one of the ‘carts’ Charlie. It was clean and tidy and in a very pleasant location. Some of the kitsch western theme is quite novel and well presented. The bar and restaurant and much of wider facilities all well presented and maintained. Lovely country location close to Laon. Nice surroundings and ponds. Felt a bit sorry for the fish being routinely fished out.

What a strange little place. Whoever built it clearly did so with enthusiasm, joy and skill. But the staff don't seem to be on the same page. I don't think we saw a single smile throughout the two days we stayed here. None of them seemed to be having fun, or even care whether we were having fun. In fact they were downright hostile at one point: On arrival, we'd booked breakfast for two adults and two kids, but later cancelled one of the adult breakfasts because my wife is celiac and they didn't seem to be able to cope with that. Next morning, I and our 5-year-old went for breakfast first, and were then joined by my wife bringing in our 8-year-old. The lady on the front desk followed my wife in and stared at her like she was a criminal for a full two minutes while we chatted, clearly expecting her to steal some bread products or something despite being celiac (although given the fact that the entire room contained only three croissants, a baguette, a couple of yoghurt pots and an automatic coffee machine that made Cappuccino tasting of stale hot chocolate, I don't know what they were expecting her to steal). Places like this get their personality from the top down. I don't know who is currently managing the place, or where they hired their staff, but there is serious room for improvement. I don't expect it to be Club Med, but basic friendliness and respect shouldn't be an optional extra. At least put on some cowboy hats or something.

The Pioneer caravans, the huts and the fake-Wild-West building frontages are pitch perfect and really well put together. The restaurant was also decent, serving a tasty range of Western themed dishes.
