Short of staff in the evening - only 1 member of staff to do everything. He was lovely but way overstretched. They no longer have an evening meal available which is what we had originally booked - the cold platter we had was nice but we would have preferred a meal. Breakfast is nice but overpriced

Beautiful building in a very peaceful location Good breakfast Well decorated room with lovely comfortable mattress and pillows Very clean Nice grounds

The lack of a proper dinner menu, the meat plank was lovely but after a long day travel something more substantial would have been great.

The building and rooms are beautiful, staff extremely helpful.

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. So lovingly renovated to a high standard. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful. The staff were lovely although very busy, they remained courteous and attentive. We had a lovely conversation with Axel who's English was impressive. Thank uou for a lovely stop over and will most certainly recommend and stay again.

Not the property but the location is tranquil but no restaurants or shops nearby, so better to bring things with you or plan ahead to eat as many local places don’t open in the week

As a group we had booked to eat in the restaurant after driving for 9 hours. Less than an hour before our arrival we received a text to say the chef had resigned and that there was a restaurant nearby we could go to. This would have meant driving again, so we were eventually offered meat and cheese sharing platters at the hotel. On arrival there was confusion over which rooms we had or hadn’t paid for. Luckily I had proof on my Booking.Com app that we had paid for them all. When we went to breakfast at 9am the tables still had our dirty wine and beer glasses on the table. If they can improve the customer service this would be the perfect place to stay.

The Chateau was beautiful with lovely gardens. Beds were comfortable, fresh and clean.

There is nothing not to like about this property

We loved the quiet location. The accommodation is very clean and fresh. Housekeeping is also very good and the staff are super friendly. Next time we are in this area and looking for accommodation, this will be our first choice. The breakfast left us not wanting to eat for the rest of the day. We were so full.

It wasn’t close to any local shops.

We stayed in the stables which have been converted, they are very modern inside. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was appreciated as the temperatures outside were still quite cold.

No problems other than the hot food wasn’t, all staff were very friendly and helpful.I will definitely go back, there was nothing not to like .

It was fantastic what a wonderful hotel, only open a year I believe. Our room was as described, and did not disappoint, my partner was so pleased that the bathrobes fit as he over 6 foot !!!We had dinner there and it was fabulous, we arrived late in the day and took note from other visitors that there was not any restaurants nearby so booked dinner in advance.Breakfast was excellent it was an option via Booking.com and worth the price the only criticism was that the hot food wasn’t!! It was on a hot plate but the heating element was out ( wax tablets I believe) so the bacon and scrambled eggs was cold! All other foods were delicious a good variety of cold meats cheeses croissants etc… Great location for the Somme and WW1/WW2 locations and the Opal Coast.

A lovely location with modern bedrooms. Let down by lack of hot water and an expensive breakfast.

Unfortunately, there was an issue with the hot water in the room. It seemed when you had one bath in the morning there was no hot water available for the rest of the day. We tried to contact staff through the phone on numerous occasions but no one answered. The water was tepid warm. The breakfast is not worth 20 euros per person, it was lovely, but the variety of food on offer, was limited compared to other French places we have stayed at. The staff at the hotel do not speak English. We tried to communicate through Google Translator but you felt the staff were getting annoyed with this or did not appear to be helpful. Considering we stayed for five nights there was no interaction from staff to check on us. I felt staying for the length of time we did, they could have offered a free breakfast or free time in the chargeable jacuzzi area.

The location is beautiful. If you want peace and quiet in a rural, French village, this is the place for you! The hotel is surrounded by agriculture and has no shops. The room was comfortable and well designed for the modern traveller. The village is accessible to many sites around the area, in particular, accessing the Somme region for the battlefields.
