It was such a lovely quaint location, but also had good facilities like a very good shower, air conditioning, WiFi and a fridge. The hosts were very lovely and friendly. We had some good fun with them. The cake and drinks with the hosts on arrival was a wonderful touch after a long journey.

    We liked everything 😊😊😊

Very hospitable and helpful hosts. We were welcomed with a drink and home made bakes- very thoughtful. Clean rooms with nice homely touches. Quiet location and private parking was a bonus as we had bikes and a trailer.

Not many options to eat out in the town, but it was perfect for an overnight stay. And if staying longer, this could be overcome by eating out before returning to the accommodation.

Incredible value for money with the warmest of welcomes from Giselle and Bruno. Home made cake on arrival, any amount of choice at breakfast (we had an omelette - delicious) with amazingly beautiful fruit ‘canapés made by Bruno and delicious bread. The beds were extremely comfortable after a long day’s drive and local restaurant two minutes away on foot was very good.

    Nothing to dislike here!

Owners Bruno and Gisele were very friendly and welcoming, offering a drink and home made tarte once I'd dropped my bags in my room. Quite a quirky place, but the spacious ground-floor room was clean and well-equipped, with a very comfortable bed, and air-conditioning (a real bonus as the weather was very hot when I was there). There is private parking for 3 cars, which was very useful, as the village street is very narrow. Although Gisele doesn't offer evening meals, it's only a very short stroll along the road to a couple of local eateries. Breakfast was good and copious, with a choice of hot drinks, plus fruit juice, baguette and selection of breads, croissants, home made jams. Excellent value for money.

The owners have a couple of cats (although they don't go into the guest rooms), which would be useful to know in advance if, like me, you are allergic. Having said that, I took an antihistamine and didn't suffer any ill-effects. The only slight issue I had was that I couldn't find a socket close enough to the mirror to dry my hair comfortably.

A very nice bed and breakfast. The host Bruno was waiting us at the parkingplace in front of the house, while his wife Giselle was preparing cake and a drink for us as a welcome. The room was very familiar with an open fireplace. Since the nearby restaurant was closed on a monday, we were offered cheese and bread as diner. In the evening we had a small walk at the village along the canal. The breakfast next morning was excellent, made by Bruno, with omelet, pancakes, fresh juice and local cheeses. We will be back 😃

Highly recommended if you are looking for a charming host that welcomes you into their home, a property with special character and lots of opportunity to meet and talk to people. The hosts were just so lovely, warm and inviting, we had plenty of good conversations and exchanged opinions about our shared interests. So much charm in this little property (the husband is a coin collector and regaled us with stories about his coins, we exchanged some coins/notes, he showed us his very impressive coin collection and even gave us a little sample gift of various coins! We were really very touched by this and generally thoroughly entertained during our breakfasts!). The breakfast was always a great opportunity to chat to the other guests and we socialised really well with the various changing guests that were staying there during our stay. The breakfast spread was great (included, among others: several types of great cheese, an amazing omelette with local eggs, home-made jams, delicious honey, a creative fruit spread, bread from the local artisans, quirky tableware etc. - really all you can hope for if you're looking for locally sourced products).

Very French rustic with ‘interesting’ decor. However the hosts were most welcoming and provided an excellent breakfast. Would certainly stay there again.

Home stay type of accommodation. The owners really treat you as their guests rather than customers. The breakfast is SUPERB!!!

Pillows on bed not very comfortable but this might be my personal preference.

The warm welcome of our hosts especially the welcome glass of wine, the homemade cake and chat on the terrace shortly after our arrival. The room was lovely and a bit quirky. Comfortable bed, air conditioning, en-suite shower and our own private entrance. Breakfast was excellent, we were asked what we would like the day before and it was provided - fresh fruit, lovely croissants and bread, eggs, home-made jams...... Brilliant attention to detail and private parking on site, it was like visiting friends. Great recommendations for dinner within a short walking distance, We chose the Indian restaurant by the church and it was very, very good. We also went to the other by the park for a drink afterwards; there were a lot of local people eating. .

    Nothing to dislike.
