Hotel Capitole is a three-star hotel right on the border between Monaco and France, which made the location perfect for my stay. There are plenty of car parks nearby, whether you’re traveling with your own car or a rental. In the area, you’ll also find a lovely market and plenty of shops in case you need anything. The hotel is just a 10-15-minute walk from the Casino de Monte-Carlo. All in all, if I visit again, I will definitely choose Hotel Capitole.

I cannot find a single issue

The staff were very friendly on check-in. The room was perfect for a short stay in Monte Carlo. Very close to the Casino and main area of Monte Carlo. Staff were very accommodating when we asked to leave our luggage after checking out. Would stay in this hotel again.

Only small issue we couldn't work out how to train the air-conditioning off during the first night so it was quite cold.

Very friendly staff, the location is amazing, 2 streets from the casino square. Beach is close too, I can only recommend. Market is 1 street away.

We were within walking distance to Monte Carlo but paid a portion of the price as staying in Monaco would have been.

Wifi could be better but that’s ok we weren’t in the room long.

First of all I found the staff amazing. They were polite, helpful to my questions. Room was tidy and clean. Great location, to walk down to the beach, f1 track to explore.

There was an odd smell coming from the sink plug hole, but I was not in the room long enough really to be a problem. The breakfast was not great, it hardly had anything, 14 euros when there is a boulangerie, super market around the corner, you are best off going there. Would have liked tea making facilities in the room.

Just a short walk to the Monte Carlo Casino. The staff was very nice, spoke excellent english. A great place.

    Could be more power outlets.

Location is excellent; rooms have been refreshed since my last visit (I stayed on the 4th floor this time); friendly and helpful staff; the view from the balcony; value-for-money

The breakfast, with limited options, was overpriced in my opinion (€14). I didn’t try it. I may be wrong on this but as part of the refresh, I don’t think the walls were painted and remain yellow. White would make the small rooms feel bigger.
