It was very clean and tidy. Christophe was very helpful looking up bus times for the next part of our journey and went so far as dropping us off at the bus stop at 7am the next morning. He was a really kind and helpful host

Christophe is a great host. There is plenty of space for relaxing and dining. We loved the log fire. Parking is easy, in the gated compound, right outside the front door. We really enjoyed the Cabaret de Liques dinner show, an easy walk down the road.

The farm is located next to a local road with some traffic. Light sleepers might be hindered by the noise, especially when sleeping with the window open.

Tasteful and spacious room in a beautiful old farm, comfortable beds, hotel quality linen, super clean, coffee facilities: an excellent b&b! Hosts Christophe and Colette are helpful and friendly; they clearly run their b&b with passion and love.

The hosts are very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The gite is renovated to a comfortable modern level while keeping the charm of the old farm. We were passing through, stayed only one night, but would have had no problem staying longer.

Make sure you communicate your arrival time so they know when you are arriving. Grocery store a bit far, but great kitchen to cook dinner and breakfast.

Wonderful romantic place on the edge of town. Owners were very responsive during our stay. Checked in on us, replaced firewood, etc. They had cold beer in the fridge and were awaiting our arrival.

It wonderful to arrive and find a fire lit for us. It was a very welcoming and much appreciated touch, as we had been travelling for a long time. Everything was very clean and well appointed. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Only the narrow twisty staircase, which is unavoidable in old buildings being retrofitted.

Lovely large attic room with king size bed. Modem furnishings, including desk and stool, coffee maker with small cakes, bottle water on bedside, other niceties as well.

The gite was so beautiful and well equipped. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The standard of the furnishings and decor were very high. There was plenty of coffee for the machines and a kettle too for tea. We also enjoyed sitting in the garden due a few hours. We only stayed for one night as a stop over from Germany back to calais and it was just under 30 minutes to the ferry. The town is nice and next time maybe 2 nights would be nice at this property. There is a supermarket 5 minutes drive away too for provisions. Ample parking at the gite and secure at night by electronic gates.

Hard to fault.

The hosts were lovely and welcoming. The accommodation was in an old building but facilities were clean, spacious and modern. I quite enjoyed being able to log on to Netflix. The breakfast was ample and Colette even brought me a plate of home made crepes.

Close location to Le Shuttle (30 mins easy drive) in a comfortable newly renovated property. self contained with own kitchen facilities. Everything new and of good quality lovely hosts

Headroom is a bit tight in places where the roof slopes down but this didn’t bother us. Entry is on a very tight bend in the road but a mirror helps with visibility.

A lot of thought has gone into this and Christophe is extremely attentive and helpful. It is a lovely rural setting, on the edge of a small town and about 40 minutes drive from Calais harbour. The letting is self contained, with a well equipped kitchen.
