Unfortunately it is very noisy, that's just the nature of the house. You can hear pretty much everything happening in the rooms above and next door. However, a good pair of earplugs will help a lot.

Nice location near a pretty walking area with a small waterfall, about 30 min away on foot from the bus terminal. The shared bathrooms (there is one on each floor) are very clean. The kitchen is tidy, organised and well-equipped - has everything you may need and more. The check-in and check-out process is very smooth.

The only thing I didn't like was that the other guests were using the washing machine and dryer in the evening and that was very noisy.

The place was super-clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. Our room had its own exit door. The hosts were super nice (even when I almost wrecked their dryer). There was always a car parking space available.

Poor acoustic insulation (and we were unlucky—we had a room neighbor who talked loudly every night at 11). Humidity in the basement room. The shared toilet/bathroom wasn’t cleaned during our entire 5-day stay.

Room reservation process- something which is more to do with booking.com than Nordic Inn:) I selected a quadruple room (for 4 guests) but eventually, somehow, hosts thought that only 2 guests would be arriving. We got it sorted out without any hassle but I suggest that booking.com should fix it, otherwise it may lead to some confusion and distress for the guests...

Noisy early weekday mornings due to other guests rising early at 6/7am and using kitchen spaces. Basement room had slight damp smell.

Great location for easy access in and out of Torshavn, perfect for going to concert at Nordic House. Loverly welcome, warm and cosy place.

The building has wooden floors meaning I could hear every footstep of people in the room above. Not great when they start moving around at midnight. Not their fault as I don't think they were being noisy, just the design of the building, which was otherwise beautiful!

Free off road parking. Clean and tidy accomodation. Very spacious room for a double with sofa and small table for 2 people. Everything you could want for kitchen facilities and bathroom shared with 3 rooms, which was not a problem. Great location - 40 minutes walk to Torshavn harbour and all the sights. 2 mins drive to a supermarket and on the edge of town for easy access out to other parts of the country. Hosts were easy to contact, quick to reply and very helpful throughout my stay. Thank you!

Only that the matress was quite soft, but that just depends on preference.

A spacious room opposite a shared bathroom which was very clean and with a lovely hot shower. A table and chairs and a small lounge. The shared kitchen was very good with a designated space in the fridge and pantry for you to store food. There was also a washing machine and dryer.

It is a really nice place to stay. Nice host and nice building, 30 minutes walk from the bus terminal. They have washing machine and dryer machine which is super useful because the unpredictable weather. Nice kitchen with oven and almost everything. And free coffee!

No I was happy with everything

We did self catering, there were plenty of supermarkets close by and accessable. the location was brilliant, making is just an hour at the longest from wherever we wanted to be. If you hire a car then the petrol stations are close by too. If you need to know anything the hosts where more than happy to help.

Very friendly and helpful owners, it was nice chatting with them. They use the same kitchen so the kitchen was equipped very, very well. It was also great that I could use the dishwasher together with them. Check-in and check-out was very easy.

The house is close to a main road, so it could be slightly noisy at rush times. No problems to fall asleep though.

I loved being able to use the kitchen and that the owners also are fine with visitors using washing machine/drier/fridge. The TV also offers a wide range of possibilities. It really felt homely, not like a tourist, but one of their family. But despite that, I had much privacy and tranquility. The property really embodies the Nordic hygge.

There is room for improvement about cleanliness of kitchen (especially the fridge) and bathroom. It’s used together with other guests, and therefore I didn’t expect it to be perfect. however, I was the only guest the first night

In the lower floor bathroom, the trash was never taken out and the soap was never refilled. Considering the level (shared bathrooms, no breakfast), the price was rather high. But that's the deal on Faroes.

Good location - the airport bus 300 stops nearby, shopping malls are close, too. Free coffee and tea all day long. Fully equipped kitchen on the upper floor, additional small kitchen on the lower floor. Each room has allocated rack in the shared fridge.

The noise, we had the room which was directly beneath the kitchen and despite signs about respecting other guests, the kitchen was noisy in later night hours and we could not sleep on both nights.

I do like to have a window open during the night, which was not available for my room. Perhaps add instructions for the coffee mashine, when it needs rinsing.

The shower could have been better. Consisted of a hose connected to the sink taps operated by a hand button. You would need three hands to operate it properly!!
