Very clean, good space and comfortable. Easy access and a very good view.

Everything was perfect!

I liked the location even if it was quite far out from Tórshavn, where I had already been . It gave me the opportunity to explore another area of town. Lovely sea view from the bedroom window. The bed was very comfortable.

I could hear the people from the room above mine, even if they were just talking. Their phone vibration woke me up at 5:30 am. I can promise that usually I am not a light sleeper.

The room was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped and very convenient. The view was great.

Unfortunately, the host rarely replied to messages, and response times were usually over 12 hours.

Everything! Pretty house, attention to detail, coffee and tea in the room, perfect functioning fridge in the room, clear and kind instructions, very well equipped kitchen with quality appliances and pans (stainless steel) so you don’t have to poison yourself cooking, very pleasant environment, wonderful views and total freedom to come and go. Beautiful bathroom. I was so pleased to find a hair diffuser attachment for the hair dryer offered in the room!! (First time in my life. As a curly hair person I was absolutely pleased💖). We would definitely recommend it and would come back! We also loved having the open air museum right across the street for our after-dinner walks.

There is a pretty steep ramp from the parking lot and many stairs in the house. It didn’t bother us, but just to take it into account if there are some kind of mobility issues.

You have to share facilities, like the kitchen. But overall the bedroom was very clean and comfortable and it provided a good base for our visit to Torshavn.

I had a wonderful stay at Faroeguide in Tórshavn. The room was absolutely fantastic clean, well-organized, and beautifully arranged. I had some truly peaceful moments to relax and unwind. The kitchen is fully equipped, which is perfect if you enjoy cooking your own meals. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. The host was always available when I needed support, and I truly appreciated the attention and care. I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Faroe Islands. A great experience from start to finish!

The location is nice, with two city bus routes close by. Feels safe and peaceful, the views are great.

Great base for exploring Faroe Islands with a convenient location in Hoyvik, 5 minutes away drive from downtown Torshavn. Shared bathroom and kitchen were clean and spacious. Room was cozy, comfortable and just what I needed.

Can be slightly loud if kitchen is being utilized

FaroeGuide is the best accommodation you can get in the Faroe Islands on a budget. The location is amazing, the facilities are great and the host is very kind. We travelled around by bus and the stop for lines 300 and 400 is right next to the house. There are also multiple local buses taking you into town. If you want to rent a car, the host can help you and provide parking. She will share insightful information about activities and the culture of the islands. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can even cook or warm up some food. There are affordable grocery stores nearby. The room is large and the beds are comfy, we had a good rest. Last but not least, the view from our window was fabulous! We fell in love with the Faroe Islands and will definitely come back!

Be aware that there are multiple rooms, so it might get a bit noisy and crowded in the evenings. Please respect the quiet hours when you stay here! We would recommend to bring your own toiletries or buy them from a store when you arrive.

Great close location to Torshavn allowing me to explore the main island with ease, great view out of the rooms window, kitchen well stocked with utensils and cookware you would need and the bathroom was very clean. Oreo (house dog) was an exceptional welcome party as well My only slight complaint were that the pillows were a little flat but can simple be folded for more volume, this has been passed on to the Host. Every other aspect of the stay was brilliant

We liked the room. The bathroom is shared but the other roommates were nice so it wasn't a problem for us.

Great room with a nice view, very clean (including the shared bathroom) and the shared kitchenette was a nice bonus.

The hosts were very kind and friendly, and the accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and homelike. We enjoyed making breakfast and dinners in the kitchen, and the view from our bedroom window. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

There was only one bathroom for showers, so we sometimes had to wait to use it. There was another toilet, but it did not have a shower in it.

Nice house with great view from the room. Also close to everything. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Hosts are wonderful, they even offered to use their private kitchen during the days when they were fully booked.
