Brilliant accomodation in fantastic location

The owner's dogs, including the untrained biting puppy, roaming the property and swimming in the pool at various times throughout the week only detracted from the great offering provided by the staff. I'm surprised there hasn't been more incidents or mentions in other reviews. The hot water in the shower came and went every few minutes, however allowances can be made given the remoteness of the resort. Also, not a criticism, rather just a suggestion that the staff could more actively offer drinks to those around the pool or out on their balconies.

Storm, Raymond, Milli, Eric and all of the other staff were brilliant from start to finish. The setting of the resort was stunning with great views and an immaculate garden. The food was consistently good/varied and the Fiji night buffet/performance from the local kids was a great idea. The activities offered were all worthwhile and mostly value for money. Our room was a great size and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend!

Take water shoes - there are corals which might harm your feet.

The view, food, and staff hospitality were all amazing. The nights were exceptionally quiet, and snorkeling directly from the local beach allowed us to explore the ocean’s wildlife. Trips to the jungle with waterfalls were spectacular. Food is exceptional as well!

Not a lot to not like! I wondered if there could have been pool umbrellas rather than pool lounges being housed under a shade shed type structure? One could move the lounges yet, there weren’t any trees or umbrellas. I am aware that they could detract from the costal view.

We loved our stay here! Its a beautiful, peaceful, inviting place. The villas are comfortable, well maintained and very spacious. They are surrounded by lush green and flowerbeds. The ocean is at your footstep. Great snorkeling right at the beach. Food is amazing. Service and hospitality are at an extremely high level, e.g. great work at the reception. A family feel and a very positive energy prevail, making us feel very welcomed. A great place to relax.

Stunning location, great facilities, beautiful infinity pool, comfortable bed, amazing snorkeling right in front of the resort, so convenient to have the food included in our rate, delicious three course meals throughout the day, and the staff were exceptional. They were so kind, knew everyone by name, and helped us book all our excursions.

Absolutely loved our stay at Taveuni Island Resort! The location is stunning, peaceful, and truly feels like a hidden paradise. The staff, Storm and her wonderful team, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy the entire time. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. What really set this place apart was the relaxed, uncrowded atmosphere and the warm, genuine friendliness of everyone we met. We enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to return!

Despite our absolute love for this property, there can be room for improvement and ours were minor. Despite it being spotless (the hardwork of the staff shows) it is indeed in need of maintenance and bathrooms are slightly run down. The shower needed more water pressure and we struggled with consistent hot temperature during showers because it kept changing. The internet was spotty and we struggled to connect with family back home. The biggest issue I faced being a city girl and not really used to it, was dealing with the insects and bugs (no fault of the property and part of being in the middle of lush a green space of nature) there were giant wasps, spiders (even saw a huntsman on my room flower) lizards, mosquitoes and I had to keep topping insect repellent every three hours to keep myself from being bitten ruthlessly by the bugs. The net curtains definitely helped at night with the bites but the sounds of the wasps and lizards kept me tossing and turning at times. If you have a problem with that, you might struggle staying in a beach burre anywhere and not just here.

Read this if you are considering booking this resort! It was out first time in Fiji and Taveuni and I was confused about picking the right accommodation. I came across this resort and the reviews were amazing. Based on that, I booked three days here and let me tell you, I was absolutely blown away by this accommodation and probably my favourite accommodation of all time so far. First the hospitality of the staff is exceptional! From the moment we entered, the manager Storm made us feel welcomed with her warmth and friendly demeanor. We had a free airport transfer and the property is just 3 mins drive from the airport. The check in was seamless and we were offered a refreshing drink on arrival. Next we were taken straight to the dining area which overlooked the ocean and our table was already set up with fresh fruit and bread butter and muffins and the staff took our order for eggs. Then we entered our room which was immaculately clean with hibiscus flowers laid down. The ocean view from our room was breathtaking and the room was spacious with bed, lounge, viewing deck and small kitchenette plus a large bathroom and open shower area. Storm came to check on us and asked if we would like to go for a tour, suggesting the waterfall was a nice place to start. We opted for Lavena coastal walk and waterfall. And guess what she not only organised the tour driver within minutes but the chef also packed us a beautiful lunch to take with us (delicious tuna wraps and fruit). Needless to say we had an amazing time at the falls! We came back at dinner time and had a scrumptious three course meal pumpkin soup, lamb shank and bread pudding. The property is inclusive of all meals and you are served ala carte meals three times a day. There are four chefs at the property and we were mind blown by the delicious and fresh food we were served everyday. Food is probably one of the highlights of this place for us other than breathtaking views and snorkelling.

Our garden view bungalow had a beautiful ocean view, lots of space and an outdoor shower! Loved it! All of the staff were fantastic and this small resort had fantastic staff and an amazing cook!

My partner and I stayed here for one week and our expectations were exceeded! We didn't see many photos online, so we weren't sure what to expect. The views were absolutely magnificent, topped by gorgeous sunsets each evening. The room was so spacious and luxurious, the food was delicious, and everything felt so peaceful. From the moment we booked, Storm took amazing care of us - she anticipated our needs, and made us feel so special, and truly made our stay. The restaurant staff were so wonderful as well - Millie, June, William - and Raymond was an absolute legend. He provided the most luxurious, personalised service, but with such a laidback approach. The food here was exceptional and the staff is phenomenal. When people say the staff make you feel like family they are not kidding. Everyone working here is so nice and down to earth and made our honeymoon feel special. We can't thank them enough and highly recommend staying here! :)

Took out a kayak for a long paddle and discovered it was leaking...still made it back okay but it was challenging.

Excellent views, the beach was easily accessible though did require a short walk down a steep walkway to get there.
