How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewOne of my best trips ever, lovely staff, very caring and hospitable. they made me feel like home, great amusements you can participate like coconut jewelry making, nature walking, lots of lovely Fijian dances, fire dance and kawa to see and enjoy, for free and other self-care plans like massage and cornrow hair doing (at extra charges), yet you will have for yourself to enjoy the sun and beach and also nature in the island. I have booked garden bure which is good for couples but if you need more privacy and quietness go for islands accommodations options
*Compulsory meal plan which lady manager helped me with so I just paid for breakfast and dinner only and not lunch *Lots of noisy kids around

Verified reviewWe booked our stay for 10 days and 9 nights, and when it was all said and done, we didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, Likuri stole our hearts. The journey started with a 30-minute boat ride, and as soon as the island came into view, it absolutely took our breath away. We were welcomed with music, singing, and the warmest smiles—it instantly set the tone for the days ahead. Likuri has such a laid-back and genuine feel. Every day there were authentic cultural and island activities to enjoy: basket weaving, cultural dances, volleyball, kayaking, crab and coconut tasting, nature walks, and more. We especially loved learning about the native trees and herbal remedies during the nature walk, and the fact that half of the island is still undeveloped—it gave everything a truly natural, untouched vibe. Some days we joined the activities, and other days we simply relaxed under the beach cabanas or treated ourselves to a couples massage at the island spa. Snorkeling was one of the highlights of our trip. The reef surrounding Likuri is alive with vibrant marine life and stunning coral formations. Swimming through the crystal-clear water and watching schools of colorful fish pass by was absolutely magical. It felt like stepping into an underwater paradise! Not to mention how great the temperature of the water is! The evenings were just as special. The night shows were incredible—fire walking, machete and fire dancing, and traditional performances that left us completely mesmerized. I also celebrated my birthday here, and the staff surprised me by singing and bringing out a cake. It was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture that I’ll never forget. We stayed in a Family Bure, which had more than enough space for us and a lovely deck where we enjoyed tea most mornings with Tuesday, the island cat, keeping us company. We slept like babies every night thanks to the comfort and the peaceful sounds of the island. Food on the island was another highlight.

Verified reviewIt's a beautiful island, so relaxed and you get to meet and mingle with the people coming on the day trips and the Robinson Crusoe evenings. It's a great venue for families and children. There are always activities if you wish to join in and a great night show 3 times/week. The staff were amazing and got involved in all jobs around the resort.
The announcements and activities meant there was always (loud) music coming through the loud speakers. No quiet time at all. (The new beach side bungalows were further away and may not have this issue). It would be great also to upgrade the pool and beach cushions and perhaps invest in the beach equipment eg pontoon/ SUP. The beach was quite murky (August) and it's not a great snorkelling spot.

Verified reviewWe were a group of 9 (6 Adults and 3 children) and we booked 3 beach front Bures for 2 nights and then moved to the Family Villa for 2 nights. The Beach Front Bures are phenomenal and I would recommend splurging for these rooms. The Garden Bures we saw are smaller, with a hobbit like entrance opening up to a big room. All Bures and their own private outdoor showers, which we enjoyed. The staff are fantastic and you cleaner, tour guide, bar staff also participate in the cultural shows. The shows are great and worth visiting the island just for that. Mirry was very helpful, as I made an error in my booking and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Be aware the meal plans and ferry are not including in the booking.com price and budget accordingly. The food is good for what you pay, and don't get stressed if you are at the back of the buffet line as they refill as food empties. Wholeheartedly recommend Likuri Island

Verified reviewThe breakfast was lovely - really enjoyed the fresh fruit - papaya! The omelettes and pancakes were also delicious. The location was great and the gardens beautifully maintained. We were fortunate to stay in both a garden Bure and a beach villa - loved the outsideshower in the beach villa!!! The team who work on the island are wonderful and nothing is a problem. We really like having our own coconut tree. All of the performances were great but especially the fire dancing which was next level. Vinaka family.
We stayed for much longer than average and so the food became slightly repetitive . If you were to stay for a week that would not be the case. A wider range of vegetarian food would be good.

Verified reviewThe staff was amazing! There were lots of activities offered every day, which I enjoyed a lot! The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. I enjoyed the evening cultural shows, cooking classes, tree planting, coconut tasting, crafts making and more. The island was small, but thanks to the activities, there were heaps to do every day. It was lovely and relaxing stay. The beach was beautiful at high tide.

Verified reviewThe staff were amazing, they treated us like family and were so welcoming, always accomodating us, made the stay 10x better because it felt so personalised. I also loved how each day had different activities which were always optional so you had the option of relaxing all day on the beach or doing fun things. The island show was so cool to watch including the fire and traditional dances but be aware that the island does day tours from other resorts and so the island can get crowded especially on the night of the island show. We stayed in the Garden Bure which was amazing, it had just the bed in the room which was all that was needed considering we spent most of the day on the beach and an overhead fan which for the July period was all that was needed considering the room didn't get too hot. There was also an outside bathroom which was a new experience for us but we loved having a shower and looking up into the coconut trees!
Bula Marianna, Vinaka vakalevu for your wonderful review! We're so happy to hear that our staff made you feel like part of the family — creating a personalised and welcoming experience is exactly what we aim for. It's great that you enjoyed the mix of optional daily activities and relaxing beach time, and we're thrilled you loved the island show and cultural performances. Your feedback about the day tours is appreciated, and we'll continue working to ensure all our guests have the best possible experience. We're also glad to hear you enjoyed the Garden Bure and the unique charm of the outdoor bathroom — there's nothing quite like showering under the coconut trees! We hope to welcome you back again soon for another island escape.

Verified reviewA lovely little island, the staff were fantastic, it has a resort feel without the huge pricetag.
I felt the compulsory meal plan was a little overpriced, but the food was good. I just would have preferred to rather pay for what I wanted, as I also have a specific diet.
Bula Stacey, Vinaka vakalevu for your thoughtful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the charm of our little island and that our fantastic team helped make your stay feel special. We appreciate your feedback on the meal plan — we understand that everyone’s preferences and dietary needs are different, and your comments help us as we continue to improve our offerings. We're happy to hear you enjoyed the food overall, and we hope to welcome you back for another relaxing island escape in the future. Tropical regards from the island.
