Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaWe were a group of 9 (6 Adults and 3 children) and we booked 3 beach front Bures for 2 nights and then moved to the Family Villa for 2 nights. The Beach Front Bures are phenomenal and I would recommend splurging for these rooms. The Garden Bures we saw are smaller, with a hobbit like entrance opening up to a big room. All Bures and their own private outdoor showers, which we enjoyed. The staff are fantastic and you cleaner, tour guide, bar staff also participate in the cultural shows. The shows are great and worth visiting the island just for that. Mirry was very helpful, as I made an error in my booking and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Be aware the meal plans and ferry are not including in the booking.com price and budget accordingly. The food is good for what you pay, and don't get stressed if you are at the back of the buffet line as they refill as food empties. Wholeheartedly recommend Likuri Island

New ZealandWe stayed for much longer than average and so the food became slightly repetitive . If you were to stay for a week that would not be the case. A wider range of vegetarian food would be good.
The breakfast was lovely - really enjoyed the fresh fruit - papaya! The omelettes and pancakes were also delicious. The location was great and the gardens beautifully maintained. We were fortunate to stay in both a garden Bure and a beach villa - loved the outsideshower in the beach villa!!! The team who work on the island are wonderful and nothing is a problem. We really like having our own coconut tree. All of the performances were great but especially the fire dancing which was next level. Vinaka family.

The staff was amazing! There were lots of activities offered every day, which I enjoyed a lot! The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. I enjoyed the evening cultural shows, cooking classes, tree planting, coconut tasting, crafts making and more. The island was small, but thanks to the activities, there were heaps to do every day. It was lovely and relaxing stay. The beach was beautiful at high tide.

AustraliaThe staff were amazing, they treated us like family and were so welcoming, always accomodating us, made the stay 10x better because it felt so personalised. I also loved how each day had different activities which were always optional so you had the option of relaxing all day on the beach or doing fun things. The island show was so cool to watch including the fire and traditional dances but be aware that the island does day tours from other resorts and so the island can get crowded especially on the night of the island show. We stayed in the Garden Bure which was amazing, it had just the bed in the room which was all that was needed considering we spent most of the day on the beach and an overhead fan which for the July period was all that was needed considering the room didn't get too hot. There was also an outside bathroom which was a new experience for us but we loved having a shower and looking up into the coconut trees!

South AfricaI felt the compulsory meal plan was a little overpriced, but the food was good. I just would have preferred to rather pay for what I wanted, as I also have a specific diet.
A lovely little island, the staff were fantastic, it has a resort feel without the huge pricetag.

New ZealandThe food is compulsory - this is obvious in the booking and shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. There are tours that run to the island (not every day) so when we came across on the 5pm boat it was packed full of people going to the show - try come on an earlier boat if you can. The snorkeling is not good.
So close to mainland, and you're on an island getaway! Gorgeous spot, lovely sunset. The beachfront bure was gorgeous. Outside shower is absolutely lovely. The staff are incredible. The Pina Coladas were excellent. Would definitely return

New ZealandThe constant stream of tour groups makes this a bit of a tedious place to stay more than a couple of nights. Also, the pricing structure (expensive mandatory meal plan + low room rate) means that it works out quite a lot more expensive than first appears. The snorkelling was average.
The shows were excellent, and the food great. The beach is sheltered from the trade winds, which makes it brilliant for swimming when the tide is right. Loved the outside showers!

New ZealandWe loved everything Remember as a potential guest to fully read and understand everything, once you understand what Likuri is and how it works it will make your stay more enjoyable
What is there not to like it is rustic, beautiful and non pretentious Idyllic situation, fantastic staff working all the time to ensure your experience is great and memorable whether you visit for the day or are a guest at the resort A true Fijian cultural experience If you don't want to stay at a huge hotel resort complex with pool but want to experience some true Fijian culture and closeness like you are family, book now

AustraliaThe staff were lovely however the resort manager appeared inexperienced and very ineffective - failing to appropriately manage an issue that arose with a troublesome guest who caused a scene and upset other guests. The manager didn’t handle the situation well at all. :/
Loved this tiny island. What a privilege to experience its stripped back authenticity after a few days at a mainland resort. Loved the number of fabulous and unexpected free activities on offer each day, the beach front Bure was also great. We had a great time! The island felt so remote, so tranquil, so Fiji! Recommend going on a Wednesday for the cultural dinner show. Best I’ve seen.

AustraliaMaybe a preference thing but we found the beds too hard for us. May not be such a big deal for others.
This was our second stay at Likuri Island (Robinson Crusoe), and once again, we had the most amazing time. It honestly felt like the best kind of Groundhog Day — swim, rest, read, eat, drink… repeat for three perfect days! The island itself is stunning, but what really makes this place so special is the incredible staff. You truly feel like part of one big family from the moment you arrive. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have you there. Our beachfront Bure was amazing, great view and spacious room with outdoor shower and air con but the bed was just a little too hard for us. Next time, we’re definitely coming for a full week — three days just isn’t enough. If you’re thinking about where to stay, do yourself a favour and don’t book anywhere else. There are also plenty of great activities available if you feel like doing more than just relaxing. The best part is there’s no pressure at all — you can do as much or as little as you like. We were lucky enough to be there for the night ceremony and beach party on our final evening. It was magical — complete with fire dancers, a beach bonfire, and a spectacular fire show. The extra touches really set Likuri apart — from the beautiful welcome song when you arrive to the heartfelt farewell as you leave. The food was lovely, buffet-style, and added to the relaxed, communal feel of the whole experience.

AustraliaThere's nothing much I can say except the beach had a lot of seaweed and not the clearest water, but still nice.
We stayed at Likuri Island for 3 nights and wish we stayed longer. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, there are so many daily activities you can choose to participate in or just relax by the beach and read a book if you choose! We had a beach front bure and it was so comfortable, we loved the outdoor shower and the view from the deck was calm and peaceful. The daily food was delicious, we tried lots of local food. We were with our 10 month baby and was baby friendly, but more so for older kids, its a paradise for them!

AustraliaWe had the best 3 nights at Likuri Island. We are a family of 4 and the island was super accommodating. Friendly, happy staff, plenty of daily cultural activities, water sports and relaxation. It's only a small island with less than 25 rooms/bungalows and we had one right on the beach. Food and entertainment was great. Can definitely recommend and will be back
