AustraliaWhat a magical place. My wife and I spent 7 wonderful days there. We chose Oneta after reading all the 5 star recommendations. Run by an excellent and friendly team who made our stay special, and it could not have been a better holiday. There are no shortage of activities including plenty of amazing diving and snorkelling sites, fishing, kayaking, private island picnics, hiking etc. The highly skilled team is safety conscious and go out of the way to accommodate every little detail in order to provide an unforgettable personal experience to each guest whether beginner or advanced level adventurer. The bure and the villas are of high standard, clean and serviced every day, making our stay very comfortable. The stay at Oneta is inclusive of meals, which are more than adequate. We especially appreciated the length they went to in order to cater to our special dietary requirement even being in a remote location. Most memorable for us was the hospitality of Martin, Liz, Richard and every single person in the resort. The genuine warmth and how they embraced us into the Oneta family from the moment we arrived there, is something we had not experienced anywhere else. At the time of departure, my wife had tears in her eyes and I was sad that we were leaving the family. The 7-day stay was not long enough in this little piece of heaven, wish we had stayed there longer!

New ZealandPartly the weather.It blew every day for 7 days !! which made water activities a little challenging.the beach area at the resort was not great.You needed to take an excursion to enjoy pristine beaches.
Set meal options were fine but possibly have more options available especially for dinner.Snorkling was amazing.

AustraliaTotally unexpected how good the quality of food was. The chefs & cooks made a lot of the food themselves as the Island has some home grown produce, but otherwise they need to make there own. Daily fresh baked bread, homemade pasta and ice cream & beautiful desserts and sweets. Daily fresh caught fish. Not to mention great cocktails by Ben.
The breakfast meals were exceptional. Amazing food.

ItalyI gave all my feedback - based on my personal preferences of course - during my stay. Grateful about how open and receptive the staff was about them! As a solo traveler, I would have appreciated the possibility to have the full board rate adjusted to the stay of one person only, rather than paying for two.
The property is amazing - the staff super caring and attentive! Beautiful dive spots all around: I’m grateful I had the opportunity to dive although I was the only guest willing to do so.
