Some things were a bit run down eg the basins didn’t drain well and the shower head needed descaling

It was set in a beautiful bay with everything close by. There weren’t too many bures ie not too many people

Even though the bures are really spacious, super clean and nicely designed, the open floor plan is not very conducive to privacy.

Navutu Stars is a special place, it's a small resort with only 10 bures. So, it's never crowded or loud there. Still, there are many fun activities planned twice daily to keep you busy and entertained. The staff is friendly and kind and the restaurant is amazing. There is something for everyone on the menu (not ideal for vegans I might add). They also have a full bar with delicious cocktails and smoothies. We got lucky and met the nicest people during our stay. One additional highlight were the dogs that roam around the property. They were such sweet and friendly animals and added to the overall feeling of a great stay. We visited the nearby village and were so impressed by the school, the churches and the exceptional Fijian people. The children all melted our hearts. Lastly, the snorkeling right outside the port area is phenomenal.

We had an amazing stay at Navutu stars and definitely want to go back some day. Such an amazing remote location with the most lovely staff. The food was amazing, all so fresh and genuinely delicious. The snorkelling trips were our personal favourite thing to do, as well as a village visit and lovo night and kava ceremony. We were very sad to leave, definitely could’ve stayed longer and hope to come back one day.

They had 4 dogs, which were friendly but this was not made aware upon booking.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the hotel and rooms are in a beautiful location. The food was excellent, and so much of it! Great cocktails too.

It was a little more expensive but would return.

The staff was amazing, went above and beyond to accommodate us. The resort was quiet, had enough activities for us and they were flexible when needed. The Bure was wonderful with a great view. We often found ourselves comparing other resorts to Navutu. The staff seemed to truly enjoy working there and were very helpful. I slept well, ate way too much great food, enjoyed happy hour, loved the activities and was very relaxed. It was everything I hoped for and more. I liked experiencing the Fiji culture and appreciated everything they did for us. We all had a wonderful time at Navutu.

We were a little disappointed in the beach been washed away outside of our hut as the photo's looked like a beautiful white sandy beach but everything else was so amazing we soon got over that and swam where the boats came in.

We cried when we left as the staff made us feel so welcome and part of their family. Loved the Resort friendly dogs, the food was amazing and nothing was a problem, making me delicious gluten free options fresh every morning. we loved visiting the village and the children coming to sing us on the Sunday. Anna the massage lady was also a treat and the snorkelling just a small boat ride away the coral was wonderful and colourful.

It did seem rather expensive but you have to consider the effort to bring the supplies in.

The location was stunning as were the snorkelling trips. The staff were exceptional, you genuinely felt most welcome and special . Loved the social over cocktails with like minded guests.

Super relaxing but plenty of activities available if you want to go fishing, snorkelling or visit the blue cave or local village. We loved meeting people from Denmark, The Netherlands, Germany and America, as well as other Australians during our stay.

We were given fresh coconut water and a complimentary massage on arrival. Staff were very helpful and nice. Our bungalow had access to a private beach. Loved the local dogs

Personal attention and care of amazing staff from the point you get off the boat to the point you leave the resort. Boutique resort with only a few guests at any point. We actually were even alone on the resort for a couple of nights which felt special. Facing calm waters even during sea storms, beautiful reefs within minutes of a boat ride. Very nice burres with panoramic glass doors which we kept open to allow the breeze during the day. Fine cuisine with local ingredients and freshly caught fish.
