What an amzing family holiday destination! This is the second year in a row we have visited castaway as a family of four and we will be coming back again. There is so much to love about this resort - beautiful beach, loads of water activities, kids club, great food - but it’s the staff that really make this place. They are so friendly from the minute you get off the boat to the time they sing you the farewell song. They make you feel so welcome. A huge shout of the Sam who had just started at the resort when we arrived in Aug 2025. A lovely guy who we hope to meet again. Nate in the restaurant was also delightful along with the rest of the staff. Colin was also a stand out!

We were a family of 12 from 3 - 70 years old travelling to celebrate some milestones together. The resort exceeded what we were hoping for. The staff were incredibly welcoming and polite, the bure rooms were traditionally stylish and very comfortable, the grounds were well maintained and there was a good sense of privacy. The main beach was stunning and there were plenty of included water activity options for all to enjoy, as well as paid extras. The pool area was calm and relaxing, and there was a separate children's pool area for families. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the kid's club activities which included cultural activities. There were a number of eating and bar options for variety and convenience. Overall we could not have been happier with our choice to stay and will gladly return.

AustraliaIf I was to pick some small areas for improvement, I would say the facilities are feeling a little dated but this did not at all detract from the beauty of the place. I understand that staged upgrades are in progress. Also, the small fridge in the Bure did not keep things cold but there was ice available.
We had a fantastic experience at Castaway Island, Fiji. The location was great with beautiful beaches and coral reef on your doorstep. The staff were so friendly and made you feel like you were home. There were plenty of activities to explore the island and surroundings, both included watersports and pay-for experiences to keep all ages and interests happy.

The location was fantastic. Really quite incredible to have the beach and reef and everything so accessible. The staff were the key though - they made us feel so welcome. Like we were family. The food options were wonderful - Restaurant 1808 was fantastic! The kids club was fabulous - our children had an amazing time..

AustraliaThe fridges weren't really cold and we couldn't keep drinks cold. You could get ice but the ice machine broke down while we were there - the small things. Would still recommend Castaway as it was amazing.
Breakfast was good - great location over looking the water. Non motorised water sports were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beach setting was amazing. Lunch was excellent as well and loved the pizzas.

South beach beach bure was right next to the ocean and we could watch the sunrise and sunsets from our room, snorkeling was right off each beach, staff is so friendly and welcoming (especially since my mom arrived feeling ill from motion sickness), kids club activities were awesome

The island is beautiful, the staff were amazing and carried my disabled husband off the boat and right to the seat in the restaurant. The welcome we received was outstanding. all the staff want to do is to ensure you are happy and comfortable and have everything you need.

Location, view were amazing. Simply paradise. Kids club staff were great, as were the activities - kept the kids active rather than park them in front of a tv the whole time. Even though was at capacity, didn’t feel crowded or busy. Very friendly staff and amazing service.
