How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

My room without a washroom so I had to share a bathroom with other family of 2 people. It was not convenient for a lady.

For security reason there were lots of outside lights around the accommodation at night, so it made the nights slightly restless as it felt like daylight streaming in.
It was so good to have a nice swimming pool to relax and cool down in. The rooms were clean, the mattresses were comfortable, and we really appreciated the simple breakfast before heading out for the day.

place is close to all cafes and bars near to the beach, good place to arrive after flying in the evening, close to the airport. Breakfast is very simple - eggs with toast. All good for one night.

There was no breakfast. We used the same the towels the whole time. Bed was not the most comfortable. There was no hand soap in the restroom. No room service.
The location was perfect. Walking distance to many restaurants and a grocery store. Was in a secluded area that was not noisy. They helped us get taxis and could use Aquarius resort facility.

Older infrastructure, but that is reflected in the lower tariff. No provision of teabags etc except one at breakfast. However, at the end of our stay we realized there was a supermarket close by. It would be good to get a map or list of amenities on check-in.
Great location, close to beach & eating places. Part of Aquarius hotel, so we could use their facilities and get a 15% discount on food and drinks. Lovely pool, and comfortable lounge area to sit and read. B&B atmosphere, with other friendly guests from around the world. Helpful staff.

Room and hotel was a little dingy. Bring a sleeping mask as the shutters do not block out all of the outdoor light shining in

Air pump was either on/off, no temperature adjustment. We were so cold but if we turned it off, it was very hot.

Only the cobblestones we had to navigate with our suitcases and steps, but staff were very willing to help us

Check in is a bit awkward, that afternoon receptionist is a different person, which didn’t hear us from outside a while and didn’t help for luggage. Electricity is out at night randomly
Nice BNB with simple breakfast. Pool is nice with a slide but no time to use it. Room is small and no proper windows but clean and cosy. Next morning receptionist (2nd lady) is super nice and made us great breakfast. We had a chat while eating. Price of the place is so reasonable. No mosquitos

Super friendly staff, good WiFi, great pool which was often empty and cleaned daily, breakfast was basic but good, next door to super market and short walk to the beach and restaurants/bars. Check in/out process was simple and I would definitely stay again. Laundry was washed/dried/folded same day.

A great location near the airport, shops and restaurants. Very clean and the staff were friendly and on site from 6am to 10pm. Great value for money and the pool was refreshing.

The shared bathroom has poor ventilation and smelt bad. The room we had the bed bases were stained with what looked like black mould or dark streaks.
