Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandOur individual pickup from Suva at 7:30 am was way too early to catch the 11 o'clock ferry. We waited for 2.5 hours at the Pacific Harbour for the other guests to arrive. But my issue with the early pickup was warmly acknowledged by Filo, the guest relations manager, with the promise to do better in the future. So I felt taken seriously and all bad feelings were gone. That's perfect hospitality. Vinaka Filo!
Wonderful small resort in the south of Fiji. We loved the warm welcome, friendly staff, the beautiful lush gardens and the perfect spot at the pool looking over the tranquil Beqa Lagoon. We had a great week there despite the rain. And the shark dive is a definitive must-do. We were travelling with our kids, age 5 and 7. The kitchen staff were doing their best to accommodate our picky eaters. That really made our life easier too...

FranceI’m not really into diving, but my girlfriend is, so we decided to visit Fiji and stayed at Beqa Lagoon Resort. It turned out to be an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the diving team was fantastic. Even as someone who don't dive a lot usually, I had a great time and made me want to dive more. The resort’s intimate size gives it a cozy, home-like feel, making the stay even more special. Highly recommend!

AustraliaA few minor aspects of criticism. Despite this resort being wonderful it is a little overpriced (700AUD per night all inclusive). Also it pretty much exclusively caters To divers, which we are not. We stayed in dive resorts all over the world and normally they make it easy for us snorkellers to hitch a ride with the divers to sites that suit both. This wasn’t the case here. The house reef was good - we seen better and worse. But would have been nice if they offered daily snorkelling trips or offered us to go out with the dive boats should the dive sites be ok for surface snorkeling. And lastly if you can, avoid the 2 bedroom suites on the ground floor (Bure 13 and 14). They are part of a 2-storey house with someone staying on top of you. The walls, floorboards and ceiling are paper thin and you hear every footstep and conversation from the upstairs suite if you stay downstairs.
This is a beautiful and well-run resort on a great spot of the island. There is a lot of attention to detail and the food was especially delicious. Staff and housekeeping were super friendly, efficient and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here and would always come again given the opportunity:)

New ZealandIf you have your own ground transfer (i.e your own car or rental car), then parking is the issue. Don't even think of parking near old jetty on the old gravel road, high chances you will get your car damaged due to big potholes. You need to request Pearl resort if they can let you park at their secure carpark. You can board on the boat from their marina. For some reason there is no clear communication between Pearl resort and Beqa lagoon resort about allowing Beqa visitors to Park at Pearl. Its completely at Pearl resort consent.
Great location, gem of people. All the staff and island people are very friendly and polite, always got a big smile and ready to help you at any time. Plenty of activities to spend your day including kayak, SUP, snorkel, diving, village tour etc. Enjoyed their cultural performance and cooking show. Veg and vegan food options also available. All means should be pre-purchased. Massage at Lali Spa is a must-do. Best place to disconnect from the world to have a peaceful holiday.

AustraliaWe had a light outside our window which was on all night. Nothing major but would have been nice to have the option to turn it off
This place was paradise. Our room was large, excellent air conditioning and clean. Meals were the best. Everyday we got to choose our food and it would be freshly cooked for us. The staff were some of the kindest and helpful people I’ve met. They all made us feel welcome Shark dive was out of this world. Recommended for experienced divers

PolandThe beach isn’t the greatest, some debris along the beach.
Great place to stay on Beqa. Well kept properly with nice gardens and facilities. Food quality was always great and we enjoyed free activities on site like village visits or hikes which other resorts in Fiji often charge for. Decent house reef for snorkeling enthusiasts though seen better in Fiji. Staff were always nice and helpful.

AustraliaI didn’t need the plunge pool at my room. And I didn’t like the noise of the pump. I really can’t fault the place. All very beautiful and well organised.
The island had a natural vibe as employees are mostly from local tribes. Tai and Joe gave a lot of personal energy to make activities fun. Food was good.

SpainThe room was excellent, the best I've stayed in Fiji. It's a pity that the room's design cannot be ventilated, meaning the air conditioner must be turned on at night. It would be great if the room could be ventilated, just like houses in Fiji, for the reason of eco-friendly. I also think the free drinking water in the resort can be improved; my stomach seems sensitive to the drinking water.
The room is large and comfortable, safe and quiet. The garden landscape is gorgeous. There are birds and frogs; you can feel their protection of the environment, get close to nature, and relax. The meals are delicious, and choosing tomorrow's meals in advance every day does not waste food, but you can always eat what you want - which is very good. The massage is also fantastic :D Although on the island, at least two free activities are arranged daily, the activities are different daily. In addition, there are also paid activities. There is also a shop inside the resort, so you won't be bored after a few days. Most people will participate in scuba diving, which is one of their specialties, especially the shark feeding dive, which is impressive. Definitely, it is worth spending a few days here. However, you have to plan ahead, their dives are every day, but the world-level shark feeding is only Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Resort accommodation and spending are not cheap, but you can feel your money is worth it. The events at the resort always surprise us; we are treated to fresh coconut water and a free ten-minute foot massage. I hope to return and stay more days - 2 nights are too short!

VanuatuTransfer over in very rough seas in small and old boat was perilous. The boat is not fit for purpose and should be replaced immediately. The mandatory meal plan promised gourmet food which it wasn't. There were three groups of American divers 40 in all who were accomodated in the dining room whilst the three remaining couples were seated in a busy walk way and regularly visited by island dogs
Partner had a great dive with the sharks

SlovakiaWe met rainy weather when is staying really useless in that point. There is no activities during the rain except the massages which are overloaded. They should mention when you book this accomodation that there is limited schedule for all activities and every day different events. So, if you don´t know then you can come and to have very boring time because you miss the most interesting events or the performers will not come at all due the weather. For that money and for our age 35 it was just waisting of money. No water activities because of wind and rain. But my husband was happy that I stopped for a while and relaxed :D
I really liked our appartment but there need a little bit a renovation in the bathroom. Anyway the room was all the time cleaned. Staff was all the time smiling and nice to us. I have to say about SPA. The ladies are excelent and I recommend to go at least for some massage. Location beautiful and quiet. Very relaxing resort and good sleeping there. We saw the sharks close to the beach and it was something. I have nothing more to mention because we caught very bad weather.
