As expected, cleanses is an issue as it is the case with most hotels in Addis Ababa. The worst part is the hotel manager from Kenya was quite rude and disrespectful to the hotel employees, not to mention her unprofessional attire.

The breakfast is good, and the room sizes are quite okay.

The place can be noisy at night when they have major events at the back near the parking area and if you are light sleeper it can get difficult for you until the event is ober

The place is close to the airport and also to other parts of the town. Internet is good and the lounge that is at the reception is also a nice place to relax.

The tap water was out of control. The water never came out smoothly and every time it was like it was like a splash.

It’s affordable and the staff are lovely. Not at the top end of hotels (which are really expensive), but great value for money. There are frequent power cuts, which isn’t really the hotels fault, and on and off internet. But i would certainly stay there again. i can not compliment the staff enough for their professional attitude and kindness. It makes ones stay all the more pleasant and manageable. It is well situated with a free shuttle to the airport, even at the silent hours. They have a nice outdoor bar with great pizza and cold beer. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is basic with a nice omelette, toast, cakes and salad selection to order in a pleasant restaurant.

Noise coming a lot from outside Even if we organised with the hotel before our arrival for the shuttle, we waited in the airport by midnight for an hour and had to make calls to the hotel.

A bit overpriced for what it is - shower pressure and temperature were poor. No kettle until we requested and room phone did not work. Would have overlooked these but we paid international prices, hence the rating.

Lovely staff, great breakfast and very big and clean room. Lovely free airport shuttle. Good central location.

The breakfast is a bit slow, even when not busy. But scrambled eggs are very good!

It's the second time we stay here, the location is great, on the main street but sort of tucked away. There is a sense of space in the middle of Addis. Walking distance to Kasanchis and Meskel Square.

The wifi networks on some floors are hidden so you have to manually enter them to find them. No one was sure why. Also we had to change rooms a few times. Not really because we wanted to, but because anytime we asked for anything (e.g., we asked if could have towels, there were none in the bathroom), they replied stating that we can change rooms. It was amusing. Also note that two people of the same sex regardless of their relationship are not allowed to share a room (Ethiopian law?) so we were asked at some point if we wanted to pay for a second room. We did not want that but we would accept another room free of charge. They did not want that, so we stayed where we were. Just beware if you are two friends of the same sex or sisters or brothers, they will expect you reserve separate rooms. Married and non-married couples are ok to share.

The hotel rooms are spacious and the wifi was quite good when you could find the network. Breakfast was also copious and the staff were exceedingly friendly. The location near to Meskel square was great.

Pool unheated and uninviting. Lack of screens on windows meant we had mosquitos in the room. TV did not work well and requests for repair not met.

Location a short walk from major square. Very good supermarket next door. Staff very cordial but some were not helpful with poor English. Breakfast was decent.

The restaurant did not have the proper ventilation, so the kitchen smells were all over. Your clothes after breakfast or lunch were smelling like you were cooking for hours!! Many wedding receptions were organised at the venue (at our time of staying) with music playing loud up to 11pm. No shuttle bus service was organised for our arrival, even if we had informed about our plane trip details (fortunately the service was supplied for our departure). The most important is that the elevator was broken for a few hours almost every day - so avoid staying at upper floors.

The room and restaurant personnel was very polite and helpful. The reception staff had some issues. The room size was exactly as the pictures. Options at breakfast for eggs, omelet, etc.

Do-not-disturb switch didn’t function. Room safe locked but couldn’t for the life of me open it. Luckily I always test it first before putting anything in it.
