Beautiful old building, very quiet area & the food was exceptional. Great for a short stay.

We did face some maintenance issues during our stay. The jacuzzi bathtub in our suite released black particles whenever we used the jacuzzi mode, which was disappointing. On top of that, I saw a cockroach inside the spa, raising real concerns about hygiene and sewer maintenance. These issues should be fixed immediately to meet the standards expected from a 5* hotel.

The hotel’s grounds are so big and beautiful — we loved strolling around together as a family, and even our dog had the best time exploring! The pool was an absolute joy in the hot weather, and the breakfast selection gave us the perfect start to each day. It truly felt like a place where we could relax together.

Room access had some stairs which was bad for a baby stroller. Few pool chairs. The breakfast has quality, but quite limited variety.

a stopover - for the 3rd time - in this hotel. Location is great, just of the Ruta de la Plata with free parking. A disabled guest, adapted room is well thought out, really comfortable and easily accessible Remember you're in Spain so dont book dinner too early but the food is superb

Loved everything!

Beautiful rooms, very large pool with gorgeous landscaping. Helpful, friendly staff who were tolerant of our poor Spanish and spoke English to us without making it feel like an inconvenience. Stayed with our two kids they loved the pool and the grounds. Close to town. 10/10 recommend!

The hot and cold breakfast is wonderful. Little more variability in the staple items would be nice for those who come for longer stays.

The building is a beautiful architectural structure, very well rennovated and maintained. The rooms have 15 foot arched ceilings. The indoor spa is a wonderful treat on really hot days when everything is shut down for siesta. The outdoor pool is like a miniature lake, fed by ground water. The staff are attentive and food facilities are good quality. Parking is convenient. Would highly recommend to those traveling by car as there is easy access to the city with the benefit of a retreat to get away.

Room location was very hard work - long way to get anywhere ! Reception staff unable to tell me where facilities such as spa and pool were when I requested a map of the site. There were lots of buildings or other facilities that we had no idea what they were ! Frustrating.

The hotel is around 15-20 minutes outside of Cacares, but a short taxi ride for around EUR15 each way. The facilities at the hotel were really good. The hotel restaurant and poolside bar were really lovely. The pool area was spacious and well kept. Staff were amazing and attentive. If you are staying in the height of the summer, they have an underground carpark which was worth the additional EUR15 per night charge. Do not miss visiting Cacares, it's a beautiful historic city!

Such a gorgeous way to spend our last night travelling round Spain ..a little piece of paradise in the middle of Spain. Beautiful room and our doggy was made to feel extremely welcome with a bed and a treat. We had a gorgeous dinner at the pool bar and a welcome treat in the spa

Easy access of the motorway and located in a non built up area. Great facilities and the storks and their young kept us entertained.

Bedroom was spacious, tasteful and quiet. Hotel is situated a few km from Caceres so transport is essential. Outdoor swimming pool and bar was well run with excellent food and beverage options and plenty of loungers and cabanas beside the pool.
