Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandThat we only stayed one night.
This place is a real hidden gem, and writing this review might change that. It's such a lovely, comfy place, you don't want to leave. The rooms are beautiful, the terrace is huge and everything from getting breakfast to the staff is just awesome. It's great place!

United KingdomThe property is exceptionally clean. The sizes of the beds, rooms and bathrooms are larger than expected with almosy everything provided for. It feels like youre staying a friend's home and the palce is super welcoming. Very comfortable, quiet and the outdoors terrace area is superb! I had a really wonderful stay. Additionally, they were extremely kind and adjusted the dates of my stay as my visa was delayed - that is something which really stood out to me. Sheila is very thoughtful and ensures that the guests have a comfortable stay. They also let me leave my luggage after check out and gave me access to a super clean bathroom and shower in case I wanted to use that before heading to the airport - several hours after my check out! The breakfast is a vibe - fresh oranges, fruits, bread, lots of coffee and tea available! They also provide eggs that you can cook the way you like. The place is so tastefully decorated in shades of beige and sage, and puts one at ease the moment you enter the space! I'll surely come back and stay again!

AustraliaEverything is perfect!
Everything about this place is gorgeous. They put so much attention to detail… It feels like being at home in a gorgeous apartment of your own. I will only stay here when visiting Barcelona from now on. Extremely clean, tidy, well located (20 min walk from Sants Station and multiple supermarkets) and amazing customer service.

United KingdomNo negative comments at all.
Pleasantly surprised at the space, cleanliness and quality of the facilities. The Olivia has a calm vibe and is a super comfortable place to hang out or use as a base to explore the city.

United StatesThe parking situation was inconvenient, especially because there really isn't a place to load/unload your car at the property itself. If you're not driving, it is fantastic.

HungaryNo one in my family could say that.... Only thing I didn't like: We didn't spend much time here :)
Everything :) The location, the facilities, the shared kitchen, the terrace, the staff and their attitude, tips, etc. The accommodation itself, its atmosphere, the kindness of the staff was already an experience even before Barcelona caused any experiences. Renovated, sophisticated, modern, child-friendly (7-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy). Shops, market, metro, restaurants, tapas bar, bakery, pastry shop a few steps away, Camp Nou a pleasant walk

RomaniaI don't think it markets itself as one of the hostels that also do events. That can be an avenue for improvement. Location is not very far from the centre; i'd say it's midway. There are other hostels located much farther. In the room there are two private lockers available if I'm not mistaken. I don't know if all 4 beds have private baggage lockers. There are about 6 (or 9?) metro stops to Catalunya square. My memory fails me.
Separate beds + curtains around them(!) Doors have automatic digit locks. Everything was clean. I liked the terace and the full cupboards with teas; some cereal was also available. Renting the towel didn't cost extra.

RomaniaWe actually liked everything, first time staying at a hostel and it was a good experience.
We liked the location, in a lively and friendly neighbourhood. It was comfortable, clean, and silent during the night. It was easy to find the location and it is close to transportation station.

ItalyThe property is located in the Les Corts neighborhood and is perfectly connected by metro and bus to the central districts of Barcelona, as well as to the L9S metro line that leads to the airport. Check-in at the property takes place by receiving a code that will be used to open the main entrance and your room. I stayed in a mixed dormitory with four non-bunk beds. Each bed is curtained on each side to ensure good privacy. As in every dormitory, each bed is associated with a lockable cabinet in which to store objects. The structure has two shared bathrooms, one for men and one for women, with two toilets and a shower each. The property also features a kitchen, dining room, a nice terrace and a small lounge. There is a good quality-price ratio. The staff is friendly and willing to help.

We loved the set up of the room. Having separate beds is perfect. The patio, kitchen, dining were comfy, cozy and charming. My daughter and I also enjoyed playing with Archie. He is so cute! We will definitely stay there the next time we're in Barcelona. 😀🤩

TurkeyI like every thing. Only if a problem happens you can't find any staff face to face. (But we didn't have any problem.)
It was very close to les corts metro station. You can go every where with metro easily. It was clean. You can make online check-in and they sent a code to enter the hostel. But you can't find any staff at the hostel.
