Fantastic location, near many bus stops and the metro, and all the shops. 24/7 reception. I appreciate how helpful they were with storing my luggage after check out. It’s a fuss free place. And even though it’s an old property that looks dated, they keep it clean

In my opinion, the price for this hostel should not be more than 80 euros per night. There is some noise from outside, from the neighbors and from the hallway, so those who suffer from noise should take this into account. It is like a simple and clean 2-star hotel.

Very nice hostel. Very central and convenient location. The place is very clean. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The rooms are very simple but for someone who comes for one night (like me) or for someone who comes to explore Madrid all day, it is worth the price. The hostel is in the heart of the city. Small and simple, but it satisfies basic needs. Indeed, I felt it quite comfortable for the good practical solutions of the furniture.

Location was close to metro and walking distance from most historical attractions, restaurants and bakeries. Friendly and attentive staff. Willing to store luggage before checkin as well as after checkout, huge convenience!

The wall isn’t soundproof, so noise from the next room can be heard. The bed is also a bit firm.

Great location, very friendly staff, excellent value for money if you just want a place to sleep and not need facilities of a hotel. Everything was clean and fairly basic traditional style but perfect for what we wanted to spend for a night.

Quiet, good location, good wifi. Good staff (No problems when I checked in at 1:30am. When I asked for hotwater for my tea they went and got me a kettle from their staff room and let me keep it for the duration of my stay).

Room was quite small because we had 3 large suitcases (we opened it all to let it "breathe"? but we managed and it was OK.

For us, location is the best! It was just a short walk to Gran Via. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, special mention to John, Melissa (hope we remembered her name right) and Daniel. John welcomed us upon arrival, Melissa gave us sweets in the evening and Daniel assisted us in getting a taxi to the train station upon checkout. It helped that they can understand english. Our room was small and very basic but very clean! . If we go back to Madrid again, we will definitely stay at Hostal Prada.

The beds were a little hard. There was noise from the apartments downstairs as our window was open onto the interior courtyard. No traffic noise though!

The location was perfect. It was easy to get places. Lots of groceries and restaurants in the area.

Would have liked some minor things like for example a water boiler in the room. Also, it was a bit noisy from the next door neighbours.

Room 303 is on the other side of wall from the reception intercom. Anyone entering after 2200 needs to buzz in from outside, no key. Hint.

The internal walls were thin and there was sometimes noise from nearby rooms.

Great location for seeing the sights in central Madrid. Carrefour Express supermarket close by. Free luggage storage service the day you checkout which was great as we had an evening flight.
