Very nice hostal, excellent location in the middle of the town, yet very easy to park the car. The room was clean, quite and the beds very confortable.

Hostal Rural Marqués de Zahara is a delightful gem in the charming white village of Zahara. Having spotted it on a previous visit, we knew its prime location on the main street would offer a perfect blend of traditional Spanish ambiance and local life. Our room with a balcony allowed us to soak in the vibrant atmosphere below. The host was polite and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. It was everything we expected and more, making our stay in Zahara truly memorable.

There is nothing I didn't like.

the location is perfect just a few steps between the 2Plazas of the village centre, and has double glazing that keeps out the noise. The place is full of mudejar features, probably more relevant to the area than to the Marqués. The rooms are big and light. The owner/person in charge was enormously helpful with my Internet troubles even after I had checked out.

Loved the moorish decor. Well equipped room in a hotel situated in the center of the town. Convenient parking close by. And a really helpful host.

The only complaint is that the hotel still uses the old fashioned, one long, hard pillow for two people. It would be nice if they updated their pillows to individual ones and a bit softer. Other than that, no complaints.

We have stayed here before and like the location to all of the restaurants and the ease of parking nearby. Our room was quite large and had a nice balcony and street view. The manager is very helpful and though we didn't eat or drink there, it is convenient to have the bar and breakfast available.

Hostel is set in the centre of a beautiful white village,the view from the window was of a lovely street lined with orange trees with church at the end , and surrounded by mountains in the distance . The house itself is an old atmospheric with lovely internal courtyard.

Parking is difficult. So be prepared to walk from the parking lots at the edge of the city.

There wasn't anything not to like. For information rooms are up stairs, the car parks are a good walk up hill to hotel. But the hotel location is worth the walk. Also for information we went in October, every where in main Street other than our hotel closed to serving food Sunday evening and they didn't open early in morning for food either. Research where your intending to eat if not at the hotel

Location, was excellent. The room was nice everything worked and it was clean and spacious. Service was very good. I would recommend eating here also, the food was local and was excellent and not expensive. The room was on the street, with double glazing doors closed could hardly hear anything.

It was comfortable and clean. No fuss, bed for the night and a simple breakfast. The owner was friendly, when asked for information he was helpful.

Obviously being late October the property was very quiet and the restaurant closed, but I imagine in summer it would have a very different vibe .

Fantastic location and easy free parking within a short walk. Quirky and charming inside.
