The aircon was noisy and not very efficient......room got nowhere near the demanded temp, so we had to keep it on all night or swelter.

Location was excellent.....and the cafe/bar was lively, with a very pleasant terrace.

Needed a second cup in each double room.

Great views and central location. One of our rooms had a lovely lounge with sofas too.

Because it was above a bar/restaurant, it was a bit noisy.

Central location, with very helpful staff member.

We booked a room on the first and second floor. The room on the first floor was extremely noisy. All the music and cleanup from the pub was loudly audible until midnight for music and the around 00h45 with cleanup. The street cleaners were next with their noise. The beds were the smallest of our whole trip.

The location is great and the pub downstairs was very convenient for some breakfast and snacks. The rooms were neat and clean, and the air-conditioning worked well. The room on the second floor was very quiet.

The room was small and quite basic but comfortable. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The location was fabulous and the cafe/bar downstairs was good - the breakfasts were very good value. We arrived early but we were able to leave our luggage until check-in time.

Good short stay option but facilities limited for more than 2 nights. No hanging space for clothes

It’s location is superb. In the middle of everything with a great adjacent hospitality facility for food & beverage and they allowed us to stow luggage until check in. Walking distance to all key attractions including the markets and St Augustine church.

I really liked the location. Beautiful building and nicely renovated room. Feels like going back in time as pilgrim, especially as it’s above a lovely caffe.

The twin beds were a bit small. Nothing that would stop me from booking again but good info for people to know.

A great location, close to everything but away from the crowds. The room was beautiful with 3 big old windows and exposed stone. It was quiet even though there was a bar downstairs - although may get a bit louder on a Fri or Sat. The cafe downstairs for breakfast was amazing and the two guys running it, very kind. Even brought up breakfast for my son to the room.

Noise outside until very late at night; breakfast set-up starts early, so you can hear them dragging chairs and tables below your window. We stayed during the weekend in which a concert festival took place, so price was 3x the norm.

Location was great, very near the Cathedral. Also close to a laundromat.

There is noise late into the night from bars in the surrounding square which didn't disturb us too much but could be any issue for light sleepers or those without ear plugs! More expensive than we've paid along the Camino but probably the going rate for Santiago

Host was really helpful and kind when we arrived early and soaking after final stretch of Camino. Room was clean and comfortable and bathroom met our needs. Central location with bar/cafe underneath where service and atmosphere were good.

After finishing the Camino, the Hospederia Tarela was a wonderful spot to rest up. The room was lovely, the availability of great food in the main floor cafe was fantastic, the location was perfect and the water pressure was amazing! Just what my muscles needed!

There is no reception desk and codes to enter your room are emailed through the app. I did not know this/ However, the bartender under the rooms was very familiar with the process and guided me through entering the room. He was very helpful and patient though I was worn out and soaked from the Camino. The room was very nice but the assistance seemed the most valuable.

The room we had was quite small.

The location was great in the centre of Santiago in a small square just a short walk from the Cathedral. We had booked an extra night in the city having just finished our Camino and it’s location was the main attraction. The main streets with bars and restaurants were close by and the train station a 15 min walk. The bar underneath the accommodation was really nice, serving a few tapas.
