Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThis was value for money. The room came with a balcony with city view and able to see the stars too. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the room was able to cool down very well on a hot summer day. The amenities provided by the hotel were useful and the bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable and the hotel staff were very polite. Great location too. I would book the same hotel.

NetherlandsI wasn’t aware that my booking didn’t include breakfast. But when I went to the breakfast area, it seemed that nobody was checking it. So I assumed everybody is entitled to free breakfast. When I finished eating, the staff asked for my room number only to inform me that I do not have free breakfast for my booking. It was 15euros. Had I known, I would have eaten at the nice coffee shop 2 minutes away. They serve waaay better breakfast and coffee for less than 15.

PolandThere weren't any unpleasent surprises there. My single room was very compact (9m2) but I expected that and it was very ergonomically arranged so no problem with bumping into furniture or my stuff. Also no minibar in that room but there was one in the reception lobby so if I needed it I could have reach it at any hour.
The hotel is perfectly located - both for visitng the city and for communiting to some remote locations around Madrid (eg. for my work meetings and to the airport). The staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was very tasty with quite a big choice of products (even despite the fact that the hotel is rather small). Air condition worked well, there was quiet inside any time I've been there and electric kettle in the room was very convenient.

I booked a twin bedroom for two nights and was very pleased with the size of the room and bathroom for the price I paid. I believe it was very much so worth the value. The bathrooms were clean and very spacious, bedroom had enough storage area to unpack my bag and not feel crammed. It was a small room, but no complaints on the size. Only thing that would’ve been nice to have was a fan.

Clean, comfortable, stylish, convenient. In a quieter area though with plenty of cafes, restaurants etc. A spacious and comfortable room, very comfortable bed. Super helpful staff - they were responsive to my query about an early check in. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.
