The wall is a bit too thin that I could hear the neighbour talking and bathroom showering and flashing waking me up at 2 am.

Room is not very big, but good enough for a short stay. The double bed was small, about 130cm width, but it was comfortable.

Very nice staff. Clean room and linen. Beautiful quiet location on top of the hill. Walking distance to anything, but be aware of walking up and down the hill. Nice hot shower.

A lovely stay, surrounded by views and countryside. The accommodation is very clean and simple, run by a lovely host who was very gracious with our inability to speak Spanish. It was a delight to meet our host and to see her garden. She stored our bicycles in her garage for us. She served us a simple breakfast in her small kitchen it the morning at a time of our choosing.

The location isn’t the best but many of the lodgings seem to be in that same area - well above the main part of the city.

Teresa, the lady who greeted us, was the best! So nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were spotless and nicely sized compared to others we’ve seen so far on the Camino.

Teresa was lovely. We speak little Spanish, but with the help of Google Translate we were soon on very good terms. The house is charming, beds comfortable, wonderful garden. 10 minute walk downhill to pleasant town centre, lovely harbour, restaurants etc. Slightly longer back up the steep hill, but I'm 67 and it was fine.Recommend.

Everything was perfect.

Teresa ist the nicest person I have met in my life. She will do everything to make your stay in the Hotel as confortable as possible. She is a strong woman managing alone the hotel and everything was in perfect conditions and super clean. The cleanest hotel room I have seen in my life.

Nothing at all negative about this property. Camino walkers should know it is a steep decline into town for food and laundry.

Nothing not to like about the property—which I loved—but, for peregrinos, consider bringing food up from the town as you have to walk 800 meters—75 meters or so of elevation up and down—-to town.

I loved Fuente el Haydo! A warm welcome from the kindly proprietor. A spotless and comfortable room. A bathtub for a weary peregrino after 35km. Expansive views to watch the sunset and moonrise over the Eastern edge of the Picos. A supremely warm and kind proprietor—-lovely hospitality in a tranquil setting 800 meters above the bustling town. The family hotel is a short walk from the town, in a quiet street on the hill from which you have a wonderful view of the fjords. Mrs. Teresa was very kind and hospitable, serving us fruit from her garden for breakfast, which she let us visit: a really pleasant encounter!

The hotel is on the Camino path, a short walk to the town centre. The owner was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a generous breakfast before we left. Fantastic views from the garden.
