GibraltarThe fact that it's pet friendly and doesn't have an enclosure at the back of the villas. No shops at all. Not even emergency products, such as paracetamols, sanitary towels, etc.. The cost of the dogs. I think i paid enough as it was, to top up had to pay for the dogs, without needing anything for them!

GibraltarNot enough menus for three of us and we had to share. Not enough pillows. Only one per person and no extra ones. Pillows are so thin that you must have more than one. This level of hotel I would expect a pillow menu. Only one spare blanket provided. There was only one thin bed sheet so with the air conditioning on for comfort there is a need for some light extra cover. The room was for three persons but only two bathrobes and slippers were provided. The room was for three persons but only two tea and coffee cups provided. Rooms not ready until 4oclock is ridiculous. If you need so much time to clean the rooms employ more staff. I asked to be sent an email or text message when room was ready but this service was not available. The adult only swimming pool has only dangerous slippery stainless steel steps. Considering that this is used by seniors mainly it needs to be changed for concrete solid steps with a good hand rail as soon as possible. The snack bar had a horrendous service on another of the days as there seemed to be only one waiter and one barman for over 20 tables, both in the bar area as well as the lobby between the bar and the restaurant. Waiting times for food were seen to be excessive. The type of tables and chairs are suitable for a coffee or a drink but not to have lunch with plates and cutlery. We returned to the hotel at around 1am hoping to get some drinks or coffees but the bar was closed. I expect this in northern Spain or Europe but not in Andalucia.
Snack lunch was quite good on one of the days. Staff good. Food was good. Dinner buffet was very good. Staff was very good - polite, friendly, helpful. Breakfast was very good in choices and quality. Room was good but see below.

The staff were extremely helpful and so polite. The grounds and setting of the hotel were very beautiful. The rooms were very nice and the beds were very comfortable. The swimming pool was fabulous.

United KingdomHaving more mugs and glasses would have been good - there were no long glasses or mugs in the villa. When we washed up glasses etc there was no tea towel to dry them. A small thing that would have been helpful. There was ample parking on the road but to park in the shade next to the villa there was an extra charge, which felt a bit cheeky. You had free 30 minutes there to load/unload.
Tranquil and with beautiful views. Villa was easily accessible from hotel facilities and it was all extremely pleasant. Breakfast was included and it was exceptional.
