United KingdomOnly minor niggle I had to go and find the receptionist as she was also serving in the shop,Not a massive deal but we were a bit frazzled and needed a rest but the young lady got us sorted and was very good 👍 So that's all folks.
Room was very big, aircon was excellent on a very hot day and was right by the pool and the very colourful parrots, Room was neat and the wet room was great , kettle was good as was the TV with range of british channels, Bar area is very good with loads of seats , food and entertainment. All in all a good place to stay and its run by Brits so very much a good experience. Oh and they have a well stocked shop and bakery which makes this a whole better place to stay.

IrelandThe dinner menu was basic pub food and was what we expected but it was served tepid onto warm plates. The breakfast could have been a lot better if there wasn't so much oil on the plate. I was under the impression the hotel had been refurbished but this is still ongoing. My room had outdated, broken furniture and dull decor. I cannot comment on any newly decorated areas as I did not see them.
The location, the free parking, the drinks were all good. The beds were very comfortable. Entertainment was great and very reasonably priced. The staff were so friendly and helpful and efficient. They were all lovely.

United KingdomThe food was hit and miss and sometimes things either got forgotten or mixed up. Breakfast was great and plenty of variety and served until 1pm. Light snacks served until about 6 I think, which again fairly good variety. Think to us the problem lay with the evening meals. Not much choice and this was hit and miss. I would have preferred to be able to have what was offered as light snacks in evening as well like the jacket spuds and salad. A bit of fish on offer plus a pasta dish think would be good. Saying all this, what small issues lacked the place made up with all other positives.
I have given this place a full 5 stars because I used to lived in area about 7yrs ago and I know what a bad state of repair this hotel needed and was only ran as a bar area back then. Considering the family have owned the place for only a couple of years, trust me they have made massive improvements. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in was fine for our needs. Beds comfy, air con, tv worked great. Plenty of hot water and towels provided as and when. You also got free coffee in room and water. We found the parrots very entertaining and personally an unusual asset to the place. Great entertainment, which is free to residents! Pool area was lovely and chilled and pretty much had it to ourselves! Well done to the family

United KingdomGenerally everything was very good. Just a few finishing touches required perhaps full length mirror or another mirror in bedroom as there were 4 of us. A few hooks on doors etc here and there.
We were able to stay on the premises after watching an excellent performance on the evening. The room was clean and comfortable and food good quality with very good service from all staff. To be able to check in at 1pm and use the lovely swimming pool beforehand was great. Granddaughter loved the parrots too. Deli and shop a nice touch.
