How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe experience unfolds like a surreal dream: you awaken to a panorama etched with timeless monument silhouettes, as the ancient stones reach toward the dawn with silent majesty. Service moves like a practiced choreography—warm, unobtrusive, and gently intuitive—effortlessly guiding you into the day. Mornings begin with a spread as simple as it is soulful: earthy bread, aromatic staples, and touches of local splendor, all enjoyed as the hum of modern life mingles with the vast antiquity outside. Rooms are imbued with a modern sensibility—clean lines, air that cools the desert heat, and furnishings that feel both crisp and familiar, offering comfort without distraction. In shared spaces—on terraces or rooftops—the world's oldest wonder becomes a silent companion, present in every whisper of breeze or slanted sunlight. There are whispers, too, of authenticity: a host who seems to anticipate your needs, a quiet stroll through stories embedded in the walls, laughter and kindness around every corner. At night, perhaps distant echoes of camel bells or evening light shows stir the air—but always gently, never jarring. This is more than a place to rest—it’s a fleeting bridge to eternity, where hospitality and history merge into one quiet, unforgettable moment.

Verified reviewWael is a sweet heart, he really puts in the effort to make your trip the best possible, he gives you water, he opens bottles even without an opener, he fights in the shops, takes you yo buy cigarettes, breakfast, falafel, or anything that you need! He is the BEST! He sets up tours, he fights with the tour operators to make sure all is perfect for you!
Breakfast could be better, I expected something a bit more egyptian, a bit of hummus, falafel, lentils creams, but instead it look more like a lunch box to go... Wael of course could work the extra mile and arrange to change to get something better as you like, but I didn't want to give him even more work!

Verified reviewStaff was very helpfull and always smiling. They are really so nice. Location very good, we walked to the pyramids but of course its 30min. away from Nile river. Breakfast is very poor. We want egg they bring egg(this is good also).
Bed was very bad, no soap in the room they gave shower gel for cleaning hands, too many dust in the room, our room was in the 3rd floor and no elevator. They help for carrying luggage while check in but after check out they didn't help to carry.

Verified reviewSuper near pyramid (10mins walk)
A bit noisy. We asked for the quietest room but still next to the street and you can hear the noise of car at night.

Verified reviewI recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by its exceptional shuttle service, which made getting around a breeze and added immense value to my stay. The rates were incredibly affordable, allowing me to enjoy a comfortable experience without breaking the bank. Additionally, the breathtaking views of the pyramids from my room were simply stunning, making every moment spent there unforgettable. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option with great amenities and spectacular scenery, I highly recommend this hotel!

Verified reviewThe view of the pyramids from the roof terrace was impressive. The staff was helpful. I had no problem getting my included breakfast later in the afternoon if I didn't have time in the morning. They also helped me book tours.
The beds were a bit hard and the tours booked through the accommodation could have been much cheaper on my own. I also felt that the area around the hotel was not particularly safe. I was also advised not to go out alone after dark.

Verified reviewThe staff of the hotel is superfriendly and very helpfull and it is the main advantage of this place. We came to hotel earlier than normal check-in time and had to pay for btreakfast, as the included one was only the next day - and the payed breakfast was just great, we had some falafel with local sauces. The room was overall clean, we also got enough of portable water.
As Giza itself is not a very clean and pitoresque place, the balcony view provides not only possibility to see the pyramids, but also rubbles of buildings nearby - you just need to be ready for this. The included breakfast was mostly bread. I would prefer to pay a bit more for the room but have the breakfast that we had for extra payment. Also flies are one of Giza features - it would be good if the room was checked for the flies before the check in and also to have some fly traps on a balcony could be helpful. The trashy area is I guess just something to accept as it is and to be ready for.

Verified reviewthe staff was very kind. Room was clean Had TV, but only Koran channels... possibility to make own coffee or tea Breakfast was simple, but enough View at the pyramids close to the center close to the entrance of the pyramids, but with a guide one takes another route, less crowded
breakfast: sometimes had to wait a very long time... When the young guy was at duty, he still has to learn to be more effective, efficiently

Verified reviewThe staff of course is the core of the hotel! Everyone is very nice and ready for your request. Expecially Alex and Yassir the 2 young guys that are always been available, kind and efficient workers. The price/quality definitely recommended.
The room was not the best because there was no window to open or a balcony to let the room breath a bit but I saw other rooms they may have it and we didn't ask to change it otherwise I'm sure the guys will accomodate us. Recommended anyway.👌
