Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe only slight negative is the decor and finishes in some parts of the hotel could perhaps do with some upgrade, though this would not stop us staying again.
First and foremost, all the staff without exception, are delightful, friendly and cheerful. This is the most important thing. The buffet service food and inclusive drinks are a good standard and the Chinese a la carte restaurant is exceptionally good. The pool area and especially the beach area is beautifully laid out, and the shop is well stocked. Our room and terrace are a good size and the shower works extremely well. The general manager is a very nice man and spoke to us several times during our short stay. I'm sure he is one important reason why the staff appear very happy and therefore offer very good service. The lovely gentleman on reception very cheerfully and patiently helped us with our onward flight boarding passes when my internet connection wasn't working well. All in all a very nice place to spend some time in Hurghada.

United KingdomOutrageous pricing in the onsite mini supermarket: 100 Egyptian pounds for a packet of small cigarette papers!
Overall cleanliness, availability of a wide range of food and drink throughout the day. Special mention to Hamada for frequently checking that I had everything needed in my room.

EgyptIt is very unfortunate that the chef who works on the grill never smiles at Egyptians people and does not like them. He was always violent with us and friendly with other nationalities.
All hotel staff are very attentive and friendly. The main restaurant, Karim and Hassan, were always friendly with us, caring for our children, and knowing what their favorite drink was. The entertainment team was exemplary and they have great kids programs. My kids really enjoyed with the entertainment team .The hotel has 2 beaches. There is a very safe beach for children and another beach for adults, and both beaches are very beautiful .

Bosnia and Herzegovina- Internet - NO INTERNET. We spent around EUR 200 for the eSIMs, since Egypt has one of the most expensive e-sims in the world. The hotel WIFI is paid 20EUR/7-day stay, which makes no sense whatsoever - Beach - The water on the hotel beach is very shallow, full of corals, and unswimmable. There is an alternative beach of the hotel next door which can be used instead - Drinks were served in the most miniature cups in the world; SUGGESTION: purchase large plastic cups in the store inside the hotel and let the staff pour drinks in those cups instead, we found out about this unfortunately on the last day of our stay
- Staff - I need to give big kudos to the entire hotel staff, especially MOUSTAFFA!!!! The kindest and best room-cleaning service I had in my life. Moustafa cleaned our room 2 times a day, brought us cookies in our room every day, and different towel decorations as well. Big kudos to everyone else as well, always smiling and welcoming. Well deserved tips we gave them. And to our biggest surprise, EVERYONE SPOKE FLUENT ENGLISH, which is a major plus. - Food - food was excellent. Many of our friends had issues with food/drinks in Egypt, but the food was diverse and very similar to our home cuisine. The only complaint about our food is that it LACKS FRUIT, only melon, oranges, dates, and once or twice watermelon. - Souvenir shop - the hotel has a shop inside with lots of souvenirs. Be sure to haggle, since the prices are never of fixed amount. - Reception - easily swapped USD to Egyptian pounds and vice versa, very polite, gave us a welcome meal and drinks since we arrived at 3am

United KingdomFood is diabolical. Beef is over cooked and will take 10 minutes to eat 1 small piece. Chicken is pink and soggy. Every day they come up with a new way to ruin plain rice with strange spices. Breakfast bar was okay. Can get eggs. Stay away from boiled eggs which are green inside. Staff members are quite rude and would rather kill their own family if it just meant that little 1 pound coin in your pocket could be in their pocket at the end of the day. They will come offer you a fresh juice. Which you didnt order or want and refused which they tell you it's no problem and to enjoy!! Just for the next day to hound you at from 7am to 11pm about 2 euros for this juice. Men everywhere, reception are men, cleaners are men, chefs, cooks, waiters, laundry are all men. Which I think the lack of a woman's touch in those areas are quite clear to see. Everything is basic and quite ugly to look at and their is no compassion from the staff if you find anything wrong with the hotel. They will somehow blame you for having eyes and a brain. All in all it's not the worst hotel In egypt. However I'd most definitely not be returning.
Couple staff members were okay. Size of hotel is nice and small. Short walk to beach 70m from reception is nice. Beach location is ideal.

All inclusive type deals are not my preferred option and this experience did not change that. Food was very tasteless. Not drinking alcohol, I tried Coke Zero - served from a 2 litre open bottle (warm & flat) - water was the staple ! Not too impressed with Hurghada as a resort, I ended up travelling to Luxor for 4 days then Cairo for 4 days. Which was much more to my type of holiday. I dont think it was a bad all inclusive place, I just dont like them.

MaltaNothing is good. From the room to the food, or from the bathroom to the internet service in the hotel. There is only internet available in the lobby. And that is extremely slow from stone age. The food is really awful and you are not able to get the slightest taste of the Egyptian food. The staff is just trying to have their jobs done and they don`t mind much about the customer satisfaction. I am definately not visiting the resort again.
The only thing good about the resort is that it is in Hurghada.

EgyptThe hotel is very beautiful and I hope to come again, but I am really very sad because the way some of the hotel staff made me feel upset and racist, and he was speaking to me inappropriately. This person is Mr. Badr. I hope the hotel management will talk to this person with me and tell her to improve the way she talks to Egyptians.

Staff really nice, try to do the best for you, however, the whole place needs pulling up.cleaning in general, floors need cleaning after every meal time with clean mops and detergent, not just old looking towels , tables need cleaning after each use in restaurants and seating areas, glasses need hot dish wash clean, not just a prince in their tap water.cutlery even when not used needs removing when table cleared and washed etc,not just reused when setting up new table, all these things witnessed.i suffered bad stomach few times whilst there.pool area when closed at 6pm needs a full clean, sand removing from daily use, yes was filtered every evening but witnesses the guy cleaning filters throwing the dirt in plants not in the bin, only used pool water to clean surrounding dirty area, almost made me sick. Reps were nice, No problems. Room cleaners great, polite ,everyday did room if you wanted and gave 2 bottles water n toilet roll daily. Front desk- polite but need to communicate better with their staff..I paid late book out at 6pm, I had 2 people knock the door telling me to leave at 12pm..so I checked out the room but continued to use their facilities until I left. Spa staff are great, especially Maria, she's so talented with facials, hair., feet. defiantly go see her and give good tip.The other Spa staff became a pain and don't take No or Not Interested for an answer, I had to be very blunt numerous times . Entertainment if u call it that was crap, quick dance in morning, one song, stretching for a bit, in pool however, pool is too deep so any exercise for small people is a no go.The pool needs a shallow end aswell for children and small people of 5ft.
