Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

QatarReception needs to be improved and the elevator. Borh are very run down and raggity. The rooms next to the main room is not good if you want a good night's sleep. Very noisy and impossible to sleep.
The rooms are good value for money. Very clean and neat. The bathrooms were very clean, too. Very close to the pyramids.

United KingdomAmazing Stay with a View to Remember! The Platinum Pyramid View Hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff, especially Lamia and the the other ladies on duty (hope I spelled that right), made us feel so at home—nothing was too much trouble. We had a stunning view of the pyramids right from our balcony, which made the experience even more magical. After long, tiring days exploring, the spa bath was such a treat and so worth it. The breakfast was delicious every morning, and the hospitality overall was beyond expectations. Thank you once again for making our stay unforgettable! Shop on the corner had everything u need was a bonus and kfc and pizza hut just accross the Rd next to pyramids

My visit to Cairo last March 28-April 2 2025 was made even more memorable thanks to my wonderful stay at the Platinum Pyramids View Inn. Its location is truly unbeatable for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the wonder of the Giza Pyramids – a mere 10-minute walk to the entrance of the complex! The convenience of being so close to souvenir shops and a papyrus museum was also a fantastic bonus. However, what truly elevated my experience at this inn was the exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Saif, the receptionist, whose reliability, extensive knowledge, and cheerful and friendly demeanor set the perfect tone for my stay. He was always ready with helpful information and a welcoming smile. I also want to commend Adham, who was incredibly attentive and always ensured all our needs were met with promptness and care. The delicious and hearty breakfast prepared daily by Mahmoud was another highlight, providing the perfect fuel for exploring. Furthermore, the support and efficiency of the manager, Boodi, were truly appreciated. He expertly arranged our day trip to Alexandria, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience, complete with our ever-reliable driver, Yousef. The entire team at Platinum Pyramids View Inn, from Saif and Adham to Mahmoud, Boodi, and Yousef as well as Faragh and Lamia, created a warm, welcoming, and truly unforgettable stay. Their dedication to guest satisfaction is evident in every interaction. I wholeheartedly recommend this inn to anyone visiting Cairo and look forward to returning on my future travels! KuwaitThe shower water was heavily chlorine based. As my family has sensitive skin showering was an issue. The balcony door was broken and could not lock. Staff were amazing at trying to resolve this but it never was.
The location was amazing. The staff were helpful.

United KingdomFirstly had a nightmare trying to find it! Booked 2 rooms.. a king suite and a king whirlpool bath. Both available at slightly different prices. Arrived at the hotel to be told we had booked the same room twice… and regardless of that it wasn’t even available and gave us a story about the previous guest still occupying it after a flight delay. Offered us 2 other rooms (which were available when we booked at half the price of the upgraded rooms) with a discount of $28 so still 4 times the advertised price. One was a shoe box with no balcony. Couple of young lads on reception who had no idea how to deal with the situation and put me on the phone to a manager who was quite pushy. We decided to leave as we felt that the rooms we had originally booked were never available and we were being conned into paying premium rates for their standard rooms in a panic of having nowhere to stay!! Fortunately our Egyptian friend had taken us to the hotel and was there with us to drive away again! I guess anyone arriving in a taxi would have felt pressured to have just accepted to rooms they were offering! I hope nobody else is taken in by this!!
Didn’t stay long enough to find out!

United KingdomTraffic can be a bit loud, but if you are walking and exploring all day you will be to tired to hear it anyway.
Visited Cairo with my daughter to see the pyramids, picked this lovely hotel room with a jacuzzi overlooking the pyramids, the room was super clean. Most of all that made this trip memorable was, Saif, a young smart gentleman that helped with everything we needed. Walked us from the hotel to their sister restaurant every night as he didn't want my daughter to be in any sbagee of the busy traffic. Organised our tour for 2 days. Even fixed my shoulder bag which I had broken during me earlier trip, for free! Saif is an absolute gentleman and I would visit just because if him! Thank you!

The Team was extremely inviting, loving, caring, helpful and joyous to me during my stay from the day I arrived until I departed. They were always assisting and willing to go the extra mile in making me feel at home. mariam and Seif was an exceptional hostess always offering a warm bright and comforting smile and positivity along with her colleagues 😊 I definitely recommend Mr. Mohammed as a tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about accent Egyptian history, he made me feel like family and the experience of the sites we visited was very enlightening. EgyptThe staff, especially the owner, was unfortunately unpleasant and made us feel uncomfortable. Strange things happened that I have never encountered in any other hotel, for example: I’m not sure if they have only one food tray! Several times, someone from the staff would come and ask for the tray as if it were the only one they had, and you don’t even have enough time to finish your meal! In the end, I gave them the tray, and we barely ate anything to avoid the hassle! Before leaving, they stopped us to check the room first. I asked why, and they said that someone had previously stolen the TV remote! Honestly, I don’t know what to say about this, a strange way to deal with guests... Make sure to check the room before paying to ensure cleanliness.
