Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The hotel had a beautiful view of the Giza Pyramids and the room was spacious and sufficient. Amr was very helpful with airport transfers and tour arrangements. Our driver Omar and tour guide Esra welcomed us warmly and took great care of us. We are very happy that we chose Muse Inn for our trip. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our requests were met quickly and in the best way possible. We sincerely thank the entire team and send our love.

HungaryThe hotel is quite hard to find, you go into an alley then a lobby, then randomly a floor is made into a hotel in an apartment building. The main road just outside is extremely loud even during the night so definetely bring earplugs. We only stayed one night which was fine, probably I'd have moved if I had to stay there a week. I have mixed feelings about the tours organized by the hotel. They contact you on whatsapp giving you a menu of all kinds of activities. They say if you book any programme they will give you free airport transfer. We did book a Nile dinner cruise and a private pyramids sight seeing and when asking for the free airport transfer they say it is only for booking day trips. They said for the Nile dinner cruise everything is included so I don't have to pay for anything except for alcoholic drinks. When we got to the cruise, the waiters said that drinks are not included at all. I told this to our driver who called the event organizer who wanted to talk to me on the phone. He said it was his mistake and apologized. I said okay, but in exchange give me the airport transfer free. He really didn't want to, but eventually said okay in the phone. Upon returning to the hotel I told this to the receptionist lady and also my doubts the this guy would give me the transfer as compansation so she called him and discussed this. During the pyramids sightseeing our guide kept complaining about the new visitor system at the pyramids. He gave us some information about the pyramids, but nothing more than what you can read in the wikipedia pages' summary sections. Also he tried to force extra on us, such as a horrible tourist trap restaurant and went back to the topic of the airport transfer when he offered to take us to a shopping mall next to the airport and have a driver wait for us for 3 hours, only for 60 dollars. The programmes were okay, but given these extra situations I couldn't enjoy them fully. I would not book tours with them again.
The hotel itselfis quite nicely decorated. The room was very large, although it has very weird setup with 2 or even 3 huge beds inside. The pictures didn't lie, our rooms actually looked at the pyramids. Both of our rooms had tubs inside so you can have a romantic time if you want. Also balconies belong to the rooms, however, it is so so busy and loud outside that you don't really want to sit out there. The receptionist lady (whose name I sadly forgot) was extremely helpful with helping us in some negotiation with the activity provider and also giving us a free room to have a shower after we check out, upon returning for our luggage from a sand storm. Breakfast was okay, it is within the building on a different floor.

SwedenThe room was not as clean when we moved in, and there’s no bathroom curtain, so you end up with loads of water after each time you take the shower. Haven’t tried the jacuzzi, but it did not look too great on the outside. The offered shampoo/gel are very basic and don’t foam as greatly as you’d like.
We came for a festival, and it was really important for us to stay close to the pyramids, so the location was the best for this purpose. The stuff is very welcoming and helpful. The beds have first mattresses and are very comfortable to sleep on. Basic shops with snacks and pharmacy nearby, restaurant right at the hotel with good food if you need a quick snack.

BelgiumNot about the hotel, but Cairo. You have to be comfortable being in real Cairo. Random people will approach you to sell you stuff outside the hotel. Traffic is chaotic and loud as people communicate with their signal horns. But you heard this only a little in the room.
You have to put things into perspective - the Muse is a budget hotel. But regarding value for money the hotel was awesome. Staff is really friendly, polite and correct - something you don‘t always get in Egypt - things were clean and functioning. I really appreciated the fridge in the room. The hotel is easy to get to and away from (plus you can literally walk to the pyramids.

CanadaBreakfast could have been better with a little more variety.
Location was excellent - very close to the Giza Plateau. The front desk staff were very good, especially Dua. She had a very good command of English, was very proactive, responsive & friendly. When transportation arranged by the hotel didn't go according to plan (no fault of the hotel), Dua, with the agreement of the manager, made more than amends. Although the breakfast was monotonous and could have had more variety, it was sufficient to start off a morning of exploration. The breakfast staff were very friendly & cooperative. We were quite happy with our stay.

ItalyWe stayed at the hotel at the beginning of January. We booked a basic room, but when we arrived in the evening the room was not like the photo, very small and degrading, and no hot water. The window of the room was very small with a mosquito net overlooking the wall of the building opposite and everything was very small and especially for me who am clasthrophobic. The following morning we immediately asked to change the room and fortunately there was a suite available at an obviously bargained price, very large, with bathtub, modern bathroom, hot water and super view of the pyramids. We then booked a package organised by the hotel for various excursions (pyramids, museum, Memphis etc.) and although the guide was very helpful we did not like how it was managed, few explanations and a lot of free time, when we wanted free time instead all in a hurry. We always returned early and for small variations there were 1000 problems. It also did not specify that any entrance to the museum and even the driver's parking lot were excluded from the package. The Last Adventure was the henna made on the hand of which the night the pillowcases were soiled. They asked for €40 to buy new white sheets, showing the washed and difficult to remove stains (in my opinion washed only with water just to show it off). After a long negotiation and agreement we paid 10 euros for the "damage". The staff was kind but these situations are really unpleasant.
Nice view from suite, and nice room(suite)

CyprusIt is not as it looks in the photos. The entrance downstairs is dirty. Rooms are not cleaned properly, and the rooms with view are old, not renovated. There is a renovated part but it has no view and still not very clean rooms. Breakfast was very poor, disappointing.
The staff helped me to organise trips in the city and in the pyramids. That was very helpful. View was good.
