Everything was incredible. Beggining with all the staff, super helpful, always trying to make us feel welcome and always checking up on us to see if there was anything they could do to improve our experience. The room had an awesome view of the pool and the sea, and it was incredible. Always clean and always checking with us if we wanted the pool or toilet towels changed. Plenty of restaurants to chose from, and all of them had good food. Overall 100/10 experience, would and actually recomend it to anyone who’s considering flying to Hurghada.

The AC wasnt working sufficently and the elevators need to be renewed . And also many tiles in the pool were missing

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect! We were warmly welcomed by the reception staff and by Mr. Hanna, who kindly gave us a tour to make everything smoother. The hotel itself is stunning and offers everything for a relaxing holiday, from great buffet food to several restaurants. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Mustapha at Leo’s Bar, Alae at Vanilla, and Alex & Ibrahim at the American Bar all went above and beyond with their outstanding service. Thanks to them, every moment felt special <3 We also enjoyed the spa, and contrary to some reviews, it was a wonderful experience. A special thanks to Amani for her excellent care.

Unfortunately, five stars quality isnt everywhere. Pools have missing pieces on the floor, bathroom in our room wasnt really nice. Towels have stains etc. I wasnt satisfied with Egyptian massage, because after one massage I had really painful back problems and ended on the hospital with pinched nerves. It costs two days and a lot of money for canceled trip. Hotel spa managers gave me apologize and some cosmetics, like apology. They really try to do something nice, I appreciate it. But I cant recommend this type of massage, sorry.

The Makadi Spa Hotel is amazing place. The whole area is huge and looking like Arabic fairytale, specially at night. Employees are very kind, nice and helpful. The room was like on the picture, big space, balcony with sea view. Spa area with pools was really nice and clean. Bar was very nice, every night the hotel have a special program for guests.

The pool tiles need to replaced in the main pool. The bed mattresses are old and uncomfortable.

Staff are excellent and very polite. Many thanks to Mr. Hanna for going above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. The food is great with great variety and taste. The a La Carte restaurant were amazing especially the Cove and the Asian restaurant. There was so many restaurants and bars in the hotel, you could never get bored. The beach and infinity pool were great. The suite is very spacious with a nice terrace with a sea and pool view.

There’s nothing of real concern to mention. If I were to nitpick, a few loose pool tiles and slightly aged bathroom taps could use some attention, as they don’t quite match the high standard of the rest of the hotel. But these are minor details that in no way detracted from our overall experience.

The Makadi Spa Hotel truly stands out as a peaceful oasis, even among the many 4- and 5-star resorts of Makadi Bay. Its 18+ policy ensures a consistently calm and quiet atmosphere — a refreshing contrast to the livelier vibe of the adjacent sister hotels. For those traveling without children and seeking uninterrupted relaxation, this is undeniably the place to be. While many hotels in the area might appear similar in photos and descriptions, the Makadi Spa’s atmosphere is something you can only truly appreciate in person. The beach and pool areas often feel pleasantly uncrowded, even when the hotel is fully booked, as many adult guests venture out during the day. The spacious layout of the common areas adds a sense of understated elegance, and dining never feels rushed — you’ll always be able to choose from free tables. The food is another highlight. Freshly squeezed orange juice and smoked salmon at breakfast are just a couple of my personal favourites that set it apart. This year’s complimentary access to the spa is also a welcome touch — in the past, it was only available through paid massage sessions. Special thanks to Hanna Reyad, who was always available to help and whose incredible attention to all guests is something I haven't experienced anywhere else ever.

First of all, I want to thank Mr. Hana for his hospitality and professionalism. His welcome made our vacation more than perfect The first impression exceeded our expectation. High standards were applied to all functions and activities during our stay. Clean rooms with a huge space in a modern style. The infinty pool , with an amazing seaview. F&B with high quality and a continous foloow up from chefs. Friendly and helpful staff which is an impact to a high level of standards training. The biggest issue we faced was with the internet connection. The free Wi-Fi in the lobby was fast and stable, but the paid internet in the rooms frequently disconnected, even though it wasn’t free. That caused some difficulties. At some restaurants drinks were not included in the all-inclusive package there, so we had to pay extra (we’re not sure why). The only problem we experienced was at Shimmers during lunch. Although the posted closing time was 3:30 p.m., they told us at 3:15 p.m. that they had already stopped taking orders and refused to serve us. When we went earlier the next day, there were service delays. Another issue was the complete lack of cold coffee options anywhere except for the paid Vienna café in the resort. The souvenir shops inside the resort charge outrageous prices to tourists. Even though we are Turkish, the so-called “discounted” prices they offered us were still astronomical. It makes more sense to buy souvenirs from the airport instead.

We were planning to stay at Makadi Spa for 5 days. Since our flight arrived in the early morning, we landed in Hurghada at dawn. They assisted us with an early check-in for an additional fee. Our room and the view were both beautiful. You can find everything you’re looking for within the resort. Everyone working there was very attentive, especially our friends at the reception desk—most notably Abdou, who helped us from the moment we arrived with everything from à la carte reservations to all our other needs. We thank them all. Mustafa from the bar also deserves a special mention—he was always cheerful and helpful, and made our experience even better. Breakfast offered a wide variety, but the options that suited our taste were a bit limited. Still, it was satisfactory, though there is room for improvement. We had the chance to try many of the restaurants and were generally satisfied. Other than that, staff in all the other restaurants were very attentive. We were especially happy to meet the Executive Chef of the resort, Yasin. It was a pleasure to talk with him, and he helped us with many things. You don’t need a reservation for lunch restaurants, but it’s recommended to make one for dinner. We made all our dinner reservations on the first day. We dined at Parilla Steakhouse, the Italian, Asian, and Seafood restaurants in the evenings. For lunch, we tried the other Italian and the Mexican restaurant. The staff at the Mexican restaurant were much more attentive compared to the others. However, drinks were not included in the all-inclusive package there, so we had to pay extra (we’re not sure why). Overall, the food was tasty and satisfying. The resort is beautiful, and it’s possible to use the facilities of other hotels under the Red Sea Hotels group. Since there are many hotels within the area, the grounds are quite large. It was also nice for evening walks. The pools and beach were also lovely—we had no issues.

I think some minor touches could be improved, nothing that impacted our holiday but the pool tiling needs repairing, the bed wasn't very soft (sheets & firmness), the shower room had some water damage and the gym wasn't free to access.

We had a lovely stay- the room was large & clean, the hotel was beautiful, every staff member we met was so lovely & helpful. The pool area(s) are very large and peaceful, the buffet was reasonably well marked for vegan options & every dinner had at least 1-2 specific vegan dishes.

What a beautiful hotel!!!! And the best snorkeling ever. The beach is beautiful and private and no one harasses you. The restaurants was great and thank you to Hanna the hotel Butler that made our stay extra special and easy. Our room was also great and you could not hear the people next door at all. Housekeeping was excellent. Achmed made sure we had a "towel surprise" every day. All in all it was well worth the money. Highly recommend!
