How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

One of the best hotel close to the new entrance to pyramids. Pictures and reality are the same. Good Egyptian breakfast. Reasonable for price.

They arranged a romantic dinner for my anniversary at the rooftop restaurant. They booked the private corner table with a view of the Pyramids, which was a heartwarming surprise. We definitely will stay here again and again, thank you guys for everything and see you soon.

I stayed here and felt at home here. We are a family travelers , but I was very comfortable and felt safe in the hotel because of the amazing staff. They always greeted guests with beautiful smiles and kind hearts, which you usually won't get unless you stay in a real 4-5-star hotel. They upgraded my room with a pyramid view, and it was amazing! I highly recommend to book a room with a view. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and having breakfast on the roof was perfect for starting a day in Giza at sultan pyramids boutique. It's only afew minutes to the entrance of the pyramids, it's super convenient.

The place it was amazing . The location is very close to giza pyramids , breakfast very delicious with amazing view , cleanliness of the room , staff very friendly and the view from the room its was really nice too . Excellent service . Really i recommend it .

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful—particularly Ahmed, Humos, and Heni, who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our visit. We stayed in a suite, which was spacious and comfortable. The food at the hotel was excellent, both breakfast and dinner offered great variety and quality. The hotel also arranged transportation for us, which was convenient. Additionally, I booked two excursions through them—the Pyramid tour and a Nile river cruise—both of which were outstanding. The tour operator was professional, attentive, and ensured we visited all the key sites we wanted, making the experience truly memorable. The only reason I am unable to give a full 10/10 rating is due to a couple of concerns. The sound insulation in the room was not sufficient, and the proximity to the highway made it quite noisy at times. Additionally, our last two drivers drove recklessly—one was speeding and driving without headlights at night on the way to the cruise, and the final airport transfer was uncomfortable, as the driver seemed unfamiliar with the route and required guidance via my own satnav. Aside from these issues, everything else was excellent. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and overall provided a wonderful experience. Thank you.

it’s located in local area that feels so dangerous during the night while coming back carrying shopping bags!
