Cozy, elegant design, clean, quiet and calm. I felt that I am an old friend to Mr Ahmed as he kept checking on me if I needed anything. They changed my room to a better one to overcome a problem with it with great understanding The room is supplied with a refrigerator, air conditioner, television, cattle It has a cute balcony with a garden view It has a safe street parking And as a female I felt safe

I was asked and pressured with so much personal questions and details from the housekeeper .. The smell of the pillows was awful and it wasn’t comfortable but they did understand and changed it Same breakfast for 5 days in a row

Authentic Arabic design. GREAT location, especially if you enjoy interacting with locals and watching the camels and horse drawn carriages head to the Pyramids every morning. A 5 minute walk to the Sphinx entrance to the Giza Pyramids site. Great home cooked breakfast. Electric kettle AND small refrigerator in the room. We stayed at another property managed by an owner of this property, same great service in a modern floor of hotel rooms.. Kitchenette with a microwave, hot plate, sink and yes, another small refrigerator shared with a few other hotel rooms. We only had to climb 1 flight of stairs to our room. Walking distance to a Carrefour grocery AND Twinky’s, where you will find delicious pastries

While we are not fans of the shower combined with the toilet configuration we know it is common, not only in Egypt but in other EU countries. Just bring shower shoes. Do not let the outside appearance of this or any Egyptian hotel surprise you. Most are very basic on the outside, perhaps even on the inside and then they surprise you with the cleanliness and amenities in your room. Also, it is very common that a hotel is only on 1 or 2 floors of a larger building. It’s Cairo, near the Pyramids, lots of tourists equal lots of camels and horses so expect to smell occasional livestock smells.
