Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomRooms a bit on the small side, pool was tiny, construction was going on, ATMs didn't work and the taxis organised by the hotel were overpriced
Location, excellent food, room service, staff, and how fast our issues were sorted out. The views of the pyramids were spectacular!

Irelandwe would like to mention all of the staff but most especially Mohamed at front desk, we arrived late at night from Ireland. exhausted . he greeted us with such a lovely smile and welcome and seeing our weary faces, up graded us to a pyramid view. To which we woke next morning to the view of the Pyramids of Giza gazing at us. Made our trip extra special, Thank you Mohamed. Food, room, lovely and spotless. i would highly recommend this Hotel and the lovely staff.

United StatesElectricity and the AC in the rooms will not turn on unless you put the room key in the electrical slot next to the door. This means that if you are gone most of the day (like we were) the rooms will be hot upon arrival. Took quite a while for the room to cool down. We were told that the pool closes at sunset (which at the time we were there was between 8:00 and 8:30PM). That was not the case, as when we went down to take a dip, we saw a sign saying the pool closed at 7PM (we arrived at 7:05PM).
The hotel is quite nice. We were greeted with a warm welcome from the bellhop who took our luggage without question. The front desk was able to accommodate our needs despite being there several hours before actual check-in time. Overall, the hotel is beautiful. Rooms were spacious and ours had balconies in which we could see the pyramids from them.

The rooms were large and we enjoyed our balcony with a view of the pyramids! The restaurant options were very good and we also liked the distance from the airport.

United KingdomThe only (very minor) issue was that the room phone didn’t work — but I’m sure if I had mentioned it, it would have been sorted quickly. All in all, an excellent stay that exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a comfortable base near the pyramids,
We stayed at this hotel for just one night before our drive to Alexandria, and it was absolutely perfect for the purpose of our trip. The highlight? Being able to see the pyramids from the comfort of our room — an unforgettable experience! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and surprisingly quiet. We slept really well and woke up to that view — it honestly felt surreal. The buffet dinner and breakfast were both excellent, with a great variety of traditional Egyptian dishes alongside more continental options. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely caring from start to finish. They struck the right balance — helpful and attentive without ever being overbearing. I especially appreciated the guest services team reaching out to me via WhatsApp before our stay. It made everything feel smooth and personal.

GermanyOur waiter at the dining room was very rude and hostile towards us which left an overall bad taste. For example, we asked if he could bring new forks for the desserts and he pointed at the used dirty forks on our table, said we already had some and never brought new forks. To clarify, those were already used during the dinner with clear food remains on them and one of them was even dropped to and picked up from the floor. Otherwise, we are not blind. Moreover, he was serving ice cream at one point and we were ordering some. After we ordered three scoops in total, he yelled at us out of nowhere that we could only order five scoops in total (we were a group of six people, not sure why five but whatever. One person in our group didnt feel like having ice cream anyways). I was the fifth person and asked if I could mix two flavors, having even less than half a scoop from each, he said “No, that would still be counted as two scoops, your group should have chosen better.” We were joking among ourselves for the rest of the night that we failed the ice cream strategy. 😀 But overall, very unprofessional indeed.
Great location, very clean and nice facilities. The staff at the lobby was very friendly and professional, they hosted us at the lobby before our check-in time and agreed to switch our breakfast to the previous day. Overall, very polite and friendly encounters.
