Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

EgyptMy recent stay was absolutely fantastic, and it's all thanks to the incredible staff. The level of hospitality was top-notch from the moment I arrived. A special shout-out goes to Mohamed at the reception desk who was very helpful and even provided a complimentary room upgrade. I also want to give a huge thanks to the housekeeping team, particularly Hadir. Her attention to detail was impeccable 👌. Additionally, I highly recommend this hotel for its amazing location. Being so close to the historical sites of Giza with incredible Pyramids and Grand Museum views made my entire trip more convenient and memorable to my family.

SwitzerlandThe Wi-Fi signal was not always strong enough. There is a very limited choice of TV channels and the TV was not always working properly.
This is a great budget hotel option for those who are not looking for luxury. Very close to the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids. It is clean, with air-conditioned rooms. The staff is very responsive and helpful (especially the lady at the reception). The roof restaurant is always open - we enjoyed a cup of coffee there with the view of the Pyramids.

United KingdomOur room didn’t have a window, but luckily we were out and about most of the time exploring. It didn’t affect our stay, as everything else was comfortable and the staff made us feel so welcome.
We had a wonderful stay at Saray Pyramids Hotel. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and warm. Special thanks to Ahmed and Abdullah at reception—they were very helpful, gave us great travel advice, and made everything easy and smooth for us. The location is excellent, very close to the pyramids and the museum, with easy access to everything we needed. We travelled with our two young children and it truly felt like we were visiting family. A great hotel that made our trip even more special. Highly recommended!

United StatesI booked the room with a hot tub for my boyfriend’s birthday. Unfortunately, it was only spurring out cold water and we did not get to enjoy this aspect of our stay.
I really enjoyed how hospitable all of the staff were. So friendly and willing to do anything to make sure our stay was amazing. We had amazing views of the pyramids and the rooftop bar was absolutely lovely.

United KingdomNot major by any means but don't expect to see pyramids from your bedroom window, you do need to go up to the roof (not a big deal, just fyi)
Great location for what we wanted to see and a fairly quiet area, no real noise disturbance. The room was lovely, spacious, good facilities, spotless! I had a little electrical issue on arrival which the staff fixed immediately. Perfect location for visiting the pyramids, sphinx and grand museum. Panoramic view of the pyramids and grand museum from the rooftop. Lovely breakfast option.

IndiaRoom service was very slow even after tipping well in advance, that delayed my morning start up of the days. The bathroom drain was choked. The Wi-Fi was use less it was set to refresh connection after every 1 minute, it was very frustrating.
The location is very good for both if you want to hire a cab or self drive. The place is small but cosy. The staff was very polite and friendly. The rooms were clean. They arranged excursions customized as per my needs. The guide and driver they arranged were very helpful. The Guide was well educated and knew the culture well. The driver was calm and safe on the roads even with a lot of crazy drivers in the country he kept dis calm.

ItalyWe spent 3 nights here and we couldn't have chosen a better accommodation. The hotel and the room are clean, the room is large with 2 armchairs, a table and TV. The bathroom is ok, you can store your stuff in the closet under the washbasin. Soap and shampoo are provided in the shower which is large with hot water. We had half board included in our booking: food was delicious and dishes were abundant. Breakfast has a wide variety of local food (both salty and sweet), fresh and exquisite. Dinner was the same for 3 consecutive nights, but you can choose pasta or pizza instead of the main course of the half board. Drinks and sweets are not included in the half board, but they are affordable and tasty. There is a restaurant next to the reception and a restaurant on the rooftop. The staff is super nice and polite, they are very professional. There's a nice view over the pyramid from the rooftop. The Grand Egyptian Museum is very close, Pyramids are close too but very hard to reach on foot because it is almost impossible to cross the streets as they are large with many cars. We used uber to go to the Pyramids and to anywhere else. There is an ATM just at the corner, we took a walk around and the neighbourhood is safe and the people are polite: we walked east of the hotel to find a pharmacy for sun protection cream and we found it! There is a small supermarket, a bakery, a school and many minimarkets that sell water and other fresh beverages. I didn't see any restaurants around except from a pizza restaurant, so I would recommend booking the half board. We booked a full day tour in Cairo and it was perfect: we told the receptionist what we wanted to see, and they arranged it. Lunch and car were included in the price of the tour.

French GuianaWe had a wonderful stay at the Saray Pyramids Hotel. The location is excellent—close to both the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian museum, making it easy to explore the main attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly, respectful, and always ready to help, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay, especially Abdallah the receptionist ☺️ Our room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. One of the standout highlights was the food—absolutely amazing in both quality and variety. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Saray Pyramids Hotel to anyone visiting the area.
